We need a goal scoring midfielder and a proper solid centre back , severely lacking in those two areas. Left back as well. As I said, see what happens in the summer but my optimism until then isn't going to improve and I doubt we will sadly.

Let's face it, we need to make a new signing almost everywhere.

The entire attack needs to be revamped in the summer. Pedro might stay, but that's it. Everyone else is leaving, either because they're not good enough or because they think they're too good for us.

Couldn't agree more. This result epitomises where we're at as a club. Rudderless, directionless and a load of clueless suits upstairs looking after themselves and their own positions.

I didn't want Sarri appointed, but then again I never wanted Conte to go.

Every manager since I've started watching football I've wanted to stay. I feel the same about Sarri

We've needed 3/4 quality first team players for the past 2/3 seasons now. Linked with plenty of young high school potential and to be fair the couple at benfica are by all accounts doing well, and you always get the feeling that when we don't go for them or miss out to someone else we will always end up regretting it. But as I said before we've needed a big transfer window for a while and it never happens

All the time we are not in the CL we will get this problem...attracting the right players

Would prefer to keep Sarri til the end of the season, but it can't get much worse under him so not too bothered.

His vision is only gonna work with the right players. That's a lot of risky transfers. Look at Jorginho; tailor made for him and clearly still a big issue.

Only an issue when the rest of the team are shlt and he can be piled on. Even Hazard struggles with that treatment

If we aren't in the CL next season which is looking more and more likely, it's not always a bad thing in being able to attract players. Those youngsters we are looking at, Joao Felix especially is supposed to be one of the next quality players up and coming, gives us time etc to build a young, exciting attacking team. Sadly though it never happens. We will miss out on the targets we are supposedly after, they'll end up else where and it will be similar to Aguero again.
