Lol i've been thinking this, at first i thought it was because they'd just been to the shops in them and then kept them on to not touch their face, but they have them hanging on their chin

then you have the others who wear them, pull them down to speak to someone or speak on the phone but then pull them back up so the main risk of them spreading their germs still happens anyway

genuinely the dumbest thing to come out of this pandemic

I don't get why you have such a hard on for people wearing face masks. Rather the person next to me coughs/sneezes into a mask instead of polluting the air.

So our last 6 signings have been Kepa, Jorginho, Pulisic, Kovacic, Ziyech and Werner. That’s a fecking massive improvement in general recruitment compared to a few years ago. Hope we keep this trend going.

but then the mask is disgusting and covered in $hit so they're going to be fiddling with it and touching their face which is the main thing you are meant not to do

plus the most important thing you can do is to not touch your face and everyone i've seen in a mask has touched their face countless times to adjust their mask or pull down the mask etc

What about the illusion of safety that masks create? Let’s say that wearing a mask decreases your risk of contracting an airborne infection by 1%, but at the same time, wearing the mask decreases your level of self awareness/self defense toward infection and you find yourself risking exposure to infection more readily because of a false sense of security. When any kind of safety equipment doesn’t live up to its claims, that equipment hurts more people than it protects.
