Would put Carlo with Mourinho and Conte.

And would move Di Matteo up too.

I enjoyed Carlo as manager a lot until his 2nd season where he refused to ever change up the lineup.

I believe he was screwed a bit with the transfer window.

Torres killed Carlo
Imagine if we used that £50m on a player or two who could have actually boosted the team instead of making it worse. Might have won the league.

Ancelotti is a wonderful man, possibly my favourite Chelsea manager, and a brilliant man-manager who can coax the best out of top level side to go the extra inch. Especially good with ageing teams and getting more out of them.

Conte however is a genius, easily a top five manager to do this day. He is a psychopath, which limits him but in terms of ability to understand football he is like a grandmaster only peak Mourinho compares when it comes to our guys.

I agree with Balrms that Sarri could alienating, rather than being a wonk it was his weird suspicions like not going on a pitch after a game and training only in afternoons (which wound up our squad a lot apparently) and his grumpy press conferences that bothered me.

He can be a pretentious prig if he wishes, for me his lack of appreciation or love for the supporters and refusal to build a connection with them set him back.

Conte was a genius, he was also a firebreathing, full blooded monster.

Yeah of course he is all those things. I agree.

I respect the guy as a coach, but he isn't nearly as talented as he thinks he is. We've had better managers here after all.
