“Even the commentary has changed over the last two and a half games. I’ve never seen anything change so quickly.”

Think the PR churner needs a service. Working a little too hard & it's overheating

What a boat load of nothing speak from Boehly. Utter khant.

Despite a solid perfomance from tuchel in europe I still think we should keep poch for the meantime.

Be interesting to see where we go if we ever get a solid team back and injuries sorted.

🚨 BREAKING : Todd Boehly speaks

“ We’ve seen the last two and a half games, at least in the second half at Aston Villa (2-2 draw) and Tottenham (2-0 win) and West Ham (5-0 win) where we played just beautiful football.

“It was so fluid, it was exactly the way we drew it up, when we came out of the back, built up and we moved up the pitch, very organised and the number of shots we had on board”

“In those two and a half games, you could really start to see what we were working on coming together”

“Even the commentary has changed over the last two and a half games. I’ve never seen anything change so quickly.”

(@TheAthleticFC - quotes via Boehly’s 1 on 1 session in Hollywood)

stupid comments. If he even said since xmas it would have more merit. Or even the last 2 months but to judge anything over 2 games is ridiculous

Boehly is right in the sense that it usually takes about 2-3 games for public and media opinion to begin shifting.

Apart from a big slump around Christmas, I feel a lot of our performances haven't been awful. How many games can we point to when our front players haven't finished big chances? Brentford (twice), Arsenal, Liverpool, Wolves, West Ham, Burnley, Man City ... to name just a few. I don't blame Jackson ... and he has improved ... but he missed a lot of big chances. Also, our defensive and goalkeeping frailties have cost us points, but in many cases, we have dominated games without reward.

the nottingham forest chance for jackson was comical just had to poke it into an open net and hit it over the bar

If you're in & around your own expectations yes, not if you're lagging behind them as much as we are.

If the amount of money invested wasn't a drop in the ocean to the people funding us, I'm sure his prospective would be quite different.

Theyve been awful my friend - keeping the ball and doing nothing with it and looking clueless? There is one thing in having the ball and probing a lot for goals and opportunities, and getting unlucky etc.........and then there is Chelsea, with a glacial attack, 0 movement off the ball, little support when we get the ball, and then 52 passes between CB before we move forward again, honestly some of the worse football I have witnessed and then knowing that an unnecessary mistake was coming or set piece and comical defending would lead to goals against. And to top it all off we were guaranteed at least 78 mins of this regardless as Pooch doesn't do anything. Wont lie the last few games have bee a breath of fresh air and we almost look like a team but lets not try to pretend this season has been fun and we haven't be awful for the vast majority of it

If the PL table started on Jan 1st then we'd currently be 4th with a game in hand so in terms of results we're much improved since the first half of the season. Hopefully performances are slowly catching up. This team was never going to just click overnight though. Time is everything.

Well we have been wildly below the expectations set over the Roman era and the expectations spent by the outlay but you can still observe the haven group think begrudgingly switching from poch out to give him some more time if there's nobody attractive to swap to over the course of a couple of months

Chelsea have been put off by a potential deal for Nico Williams. Not only are they well stocked in that position, but Williams wants more than the £172,000 a week he currently earns. (@JacobsBen) #CFC

Fluminense President Mario Bittencourt: “The way Chelsea respected us, they were very kind. I am a Chelsea fan in England and they showed impressive grandeur. If, should it be allowed by the calendar, we can play a friendly in England and they can come to play at the Maracana, it would be incredible to create a link between the two clubs.” (@geglobo via @standardsport)

Chelsea is on the hunt for a hamstring injury specialist to address the ongoing injury problems that have affected the team's performance and hindered new manager Mauricio Pochettino's efforts to make a strong start at the club.

The decision to bring in a specialist comes as the club's medical department faces a series of departures and changes, struggling to manage the high number of injuries this season

Key word there being begrudgingly, the general opinion hasn't actually changed - being the owners suck & a huge portion of the fandom thinking the manager's not good enough.

It is an impressive coup I will say that. Palmeras' manager when Endrick was sold was quoted saying something along the lines of you think he's good? Wait till this kid from the youth comes into the first team!

This would be amazing, could you imagine us having James and Chilwell fit all season? I'd say that would give us an extra 10-15 points more with just those 2 being fit.
