Rumours on Amorim picking up again. Apparently hasn't closed the door on a move but is waiting until after Sporting's Cup final on Sunday. Few of the journos saying he would be tempted by a proposal from Chelsea, and hasn't said no either way as of yet.

I quite like the idea of giving a manager a “guaranteed” two year deal or maybe like guaranteed but if we finish below like 8th with no trophy then they can be sacked

Or maybe like “guaranteed 2nd year if achieve XXXX”

Need something like that. Cos I honestly don’t see why Poch deserved to be sacked, factoring in everything this season we had a fackin over achieving season yet he still got sacked

Poch wasn't sacked though. He clearly wanted to keep Gallagher and Chalobah and it seems that's where the split has come from.

Poch said as much a couple of months ago when he said that it's a two way street and he and his coaching team need to be happy as well for this to work.

I think that quote was a lot more telling than we realised at the time. Poch has basically said fck this I'm out if I have no say in keeping players. And rightly so.

Really really hope these Amorim rumours are true. It digs us out of a big hole that we didn't need to create. Amorim can bring Gyokeres with him too please. Crisis over if we bring in those two.

Moronic decisions by people at this club have made me miserable every time I have even thought about football, for like 80% of the past 2 years.

After we finished 6th I was actually feeling positive and optimistic for the first time. That feeling lasted 2 days

Don’t even care what happens in the FA Cup final anymore.
