🗣 @SkyKaveh on Jadon Sancho’s contract situation:

"It’s a very complicated situation. I think it's touch and go whether he stays at Chelsea, but some very very senior people at Chelsea would like him to stay but he's got to fit into their wage structure."

🗣 @SkyKaveh on Liam Delap:

"I think almost half of the Premier League wanted to sign him but he chose Chelsea because he really believes in what is happening at Chelsea at the moment and he's got relationships with key people at the club."

Chelsea wouldn’t have a problem with personal terms of Ekitike and broad outline has been reached, club have told his agent to try and make room on the price with Frankfurt, currently sits at £84m. Club certainly exploring a second striker before committing to Jackson and Delap.

Delap working under Maresca before certainly helped I'm sure. Not to mention factors like us having a proper number 9 sized hole in this team which he undoubtedly is. As well as CL football and significantly increased wages. We shouldn't be too shocked if he choses us.

From our perspective £30 million is an incredible deal as even if he doesn't do as well as we'd hope he probably doesn't lose significant value given how much even the worst strikers go for these days.

Hopefully fans get behind him and remember he's still a kid. We may not see the best of him for another couple of seasons, especially as he adjusts to life at a much bigger club and the spotlight etc. And naturally improves hopefully.

‼️ Chelsea have reached an agreement with Liam Delap over personal terms and the striker will join from Ipswich Town on a contract that runs until 2031, subject to completing his medical checks.

- Arsenal are talking to Sesko.

- Frankfurt have identified a potential replacement from Mainz.

Dailymail names Joao Felix as the worst Signing of the season in the PL.

✍️ "Signed on a seven-year deal, the Portuguese forward was brought in as part of Chelsea’s long-term project, but the move seems bizarre and costly given his glaring inconsistency."

Daily Mail End Of Season Ratings -

Best Signing — Dean Huijsen

Worst Signing — Joao Felix

Overachiever — Nottingham Forest

Biggest Flop — Manchester United

Young Player of the Year — Morgan Rogers

Manager of the Year — Nuno Espirito Santo

Chelsea will be opportunistic should Morgan Rogers become available, but Aston Villa have no intention to sell even with a tight PSR position.

No movement on goalkeepers. Chelsea will first pick a number one from Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic, Filip Jorgensen and Mike Penders. Club World Cup likely to be a key period to judge all four.

Penders likely to remain at Genk or go on loan to Strasbourg.

Petrovic has had interest from Monaco

Sanchez continues to be linked to Villareal

It was a very fishy deal. There was definitely more to it than met the eye.

Can’t believe we paid more for Felix than what we sold Gallagher for.

The worst deal was that player we took from Villa in exchange for Maatsen. Absolutely criminal.

Ben Jacobs -

Chelsea’s next priority after Liam Delap is a right-footed left winger. Alejandro Garnacho, Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens are three names under consideration.

The desire to add another winger is more with Mykhailo Mudryk’s absence in mind. Process likely to take time regardless of the outcome.

Chelsea would prefer to keep Jadon Sancho, but only if he agrees terms within the club’s wage structure. Otherwise, Sancho will go back to #MUFC for a £5m penalty fee.

Another forward is also possible as Christopher Nkunku is expected to leave.
This could be another number nine, despite faith in Nicolas Jackson. Or it could be a versatile attacking midfielder.

Chelsea will be opportunistic should Morgen Rogers become available, but Aston Villa have no intention to sell even with a tight PSR position.

Jorrel Hato also still remains a possibility in defence.
