‼️ Robert Sánchez has saved 76 per cent of opposition shots on target at the Club World Cup (13/17). Indeed, based on the xG of attempts on target faced, he has prevented three goals across his three appearances in the current tournament (+3.1 – four conceded from 7.1 xG on target).

He’s excellent at most things other than his distribution which was the main reason we brought him. Against Benfica he rolled it out to one of their players. 😂

🚨 Chelsea have not ruled out swooping in for Mohammed Kudus, but the belief is they need to do some selling first. (@kierangill_DM) #CFC
Chelsea look set to increase there Multi Club model by making a secondary bid for a stake in Sporting Lisbon, according to reports. Chelsea have seen an initial bid rejected last year, but have remained in talks with the Portuguese club since, and have maintained a good relationship through transfers as well.
It is understood that the Lisbon club’s youth development credentials and link with the Brazilian market are especially attractive, though any minority investment deal is unlikely to materialise until at least next 2026 due to a two-year “cooling-off” period.
If they did pull off a part-takeover, however, it would be one of the biggest multi-club statements yet. Sporting are a huge club in their own right and surely would not settle for simply being a feeder for Chelsea.
For Chelsea, this is another route for potential talent and to have first refusal, as well as access to the Brazilian market via the Portuguese team. This would also allow Sporting access to some of Chelsea's brightest talents on loan, as well as a potential cash boost.
‼️ Chelsea spoke to the agents of Mohammed Kudus. Chelsea have been very busy with the transfer activity over the weekend, so nothing is imminent for kudos, but they also spoke to the agents.

I’d say we’re no longer “swooping” for Kudus. More like casually meandering towards him.
I’d be delighted if we did buy him, but this seems like a long drawn-out transfer, that involves selling Madueke, and possibly Nkunku, Felix, KDH and Chukwuemeka.

This multi-club thing is interesting. But how will it work if and when these clubs qualify for the same tournaments? Had Strasbourg qualified for the CL what would have happened? And aren’t Sporting likely to qualify for the CL every year?

I think it goes off how much stake you own or control you have, I.E you have to be a majority holder etc. In this example with Sporting I think it would only be around 10% stake, so wouldn't be classed as majority share, whwre as with Strasbourg its nearly a 100% ownership. So if both were in CL, UEFA would look to put one in the Europa or Conference based on standings etc
Kudus coming of a poor season. Would be unimpressed if we shift Mads for him and don't make a decent profit.
‼️ Chelsea are still interested in Kudus despite having agreed deals for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
They are monitoring Kudus' situation closely with Tottenham and Newcastle also keen.

I was going to say - he’s still magnificent.
Chelsea are ready to battle Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Fulham for the signature of English full-back Kyle Walker-Peters.
Kyle Walker-Peters is leaving Southampton as his contract has run out. He will soon officially be a free agent, and there is certainly no shortage of interest in the English international. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Chelsea are keen on signing him and they are ready to rival Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Fulham
Former Chelsea ace Charly Musonda has announced his retirement at the age of 28 after an injury plagued career, and he hopes to he able to take up a coaching role next.
I remember thinking he looked a special talent at youth level
Express - Chelsea believe they have the upper hand in any potential deal for Mohammed Kudus, as West Ham have shown an interest in at least 6 of Chelsea's players, which could all be offered at a reduced fee as part of any deal.
Robert Sanchez, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall , Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah have all been subject of interest to West Ham.
Chelsea have previously mentioned these players in an earlier bid for Kudus, which was reportedly rejected, however this may now be back on the table.
