Biggish curious question for you, do you think Nkunku is a better player than Nico?

I don't know tbh. Never thought about it. I guess because Nkunku hardly ever plays, it's a case of outta sight, outta mind.

From what I remember before his injury he is a more complete player than Jackson, but seems to massively lack drive. Jackson has drive but technically I think is a worse player. Nkunku suffers from big fish syndrome, and I think will do well in a club where he is the main man

We are getting 50m odd for one of the more frustrating players ive seen for us

Not quite Werner levels mind but its nice to not have to worry about Mads again

I liked him from the beginning and guessed his arrival

See Arsenal fans complaining they've got a back up for Saka for this price

I think we are in the era though where most of your attack options are gonna be this price range

the top clubs will have 5 players that cost that much for 3 spots

Me and Steve were happy with his signing

the concerns for Pedro were on the stats and rumoured discipline issues

i think most of us thought he looked great on the eye test

there are some good tactical breakdowns of his game that show he has a good mind for the game

his first touch, weight of pass and shooting technique are all top drawer

He also only averaged 5 goals a season from open play in the PL.

With Madueke, I'll be surprised if Arsenal fans are right and he's a back up for £52m and they'll spend £68m on Eze and then another £60m on Gyokeres and then another £80m on Rodrygo...

I do think Arteta must see him as a starter

I think Nkunku might be getting rehabilitated - it'd make sense if Jackson goes. Can be understudy to Palmer or 3rd choice striker and would mean we'd only need to buy one more forward.

Only way is up

He played from the 10 most of the season behind Ferguson or Welbeck

10 goals (5 pens) and 6 assists aint bad from there off 27 appearances

100% get rid of Nkunku before Jackson. Still think there's a top player in there. Opening 2/3 months of last season showed that. Have a feeling it'll click at some point.

Noticed he's only a couple of months older then Joao Pedro.

Personally I think there will still be 3 or 4 more signings
Gk unless we're going to wait a year for Maignan.
CB/LB that will probably end ip being Hato.
LW I just have that feeling we're going to go for Rodrygo
There could also be another forward depending on who leaves.

Although I agree, it seems we are moving on the inconsistency. Dont feel the wings were really nailed on, and only now Neto is starting to look real good, although there were flashes thru out the season. So as you said generally will be Palmer + Neto. The centre hub of Enzo+Moises is probably the most important aspect of the team, want to say Lavia but still seems massive ?? about his fitness. Like I would say the only real regulars we had last season were:

Sanchez/Petro
RB-----CB-----Colwell-----Cucu
Enzo---Moises
Neto------Palmer------LW
CF

And we have done fairly well in the attack so far, filling gaps rather than changing starters. Feel the main team is pretty intact
