You know I'm not sure how to weigh up my expectations for this season? I have a bad feeling at some point this season we'll physically crash out & it's gunna be cos we went deep in this CWC, so I'm tempted to give Marseca some leeway.

I think this year I'll be satisified with results by any means necessary. A boring 4th/5th will probably do.

It's gonna be hard to break into the top 3, unless Pep just fatigues out. City deffo in transition though.

From a creative perspective, we are still, so very over dependent on Palmer, and that is a worry if he gets a long term injury

Palmer was dropping deep and getting involved in creation though as a reaction to being double triple marked

Ideally he does more work up the pitch and Enzo is the main creator further back

In terms of chances created i think Enzo did pretty well this year, like top 5 in the league

But I would suggest he benefits a bit from the attention and resources opponents are utilising to deal with Palmer. If Palmers gets injured, Enzo potentially bares the brunt of attention.

Hopefully Estevao gets a year of no special attention

Just seen the highlights of the PSG/RM game. Some terrible defending from Madrid. We'll be alright on Sunday.

0 shame losing to the PSG side tbh

Hopefully Maresca pulls something tactical out that makes us competitive

Although he is right to be annoyed - I am happy that Jackson had a go. The better option was passing, but I feel he had a decent position to shoot also.

It was funny cos Palmer then returned the favour a few mins later when the roles were reversed!

I think a sign of growth that's achievable would be ending our ridiculous Wembley hoodoo. Six finals, six losses is awful.

PL and CL are likely out of reach but an FA Cup or Carabao Cup - a first domestic trophy in seven years btw - would be a good sign of progress.

We haven't been potless since the Wembley hoodoo began but it's clear it's slowed down our trophy haul.

Out of the six finals, we could easily have won four of them imo.
