We've had a summer transfer to sort this so we have zero excuses for not being able to put a strong team out in the absence of Palmer and Caicedo. No excuses whatsoever.

Just looked at Buonanotte's stats, he's scored just 15 goals in his entire club career so far. So we're definitely not buying this guy for goals lol. Presumably he's just some emergency backup. Strange and very underwhelming loan signing from our SD's.

Just looked at Buonanotte's stats, he's scored just 15 goals in his entire club career so far. So we're definitely not buying this guy for goals lol. Presumably he's just some emergency backup. Strange and very underwhelming loan signing from our SD's.

Genuinely dont understand the signing. Would rather us use an academy player than bring in someone like Buonanotte.

I'd have kept Chukwuemeka, I will die on the hill that he's a top player in the right conditions

Maresca said he only started training yesterday due to a problem from last week's game. Said his workload has been the problem. I took that as meaning he is 50 50 to play today.

And there are huge amount of Chelsea fans very disappointed that we haven't signed him as well so your point applies to them too

Yes I know we are. The point being that we shouldn't be if the SD's did their job properly. Let's see if the players that we've bought like João Pedro and Essugo stop that concern.

I'm puzzled by this too. It's an odd signing, just here to make up the numbers in case of injuries. We surely have a better player than this coming through.
