The Delap saga in the summer was quite funny. I'm not sure I've seen such demand for what was gunna be a very meh signing for all the clubs that wanted him bar maybe Everton

Whichever way you look at it, it’s been a terrible start to his Chelsea career. Between the injury, a needless red card, and just one goal in a low-pressure Club World Cup game, he’s given us nothing yet to justify the signing. He needs to stay fit and start showing why the club saw him as Jackson’s replacement. Because at this point I'm really regretting that we let Jackson go for this.

It's a very Wenger's Arsenal type of signing though. It's a little bit too safe. Based on last season I think he's a decent player, but I'd be surprised if we ascend with him as a main striker.

I'd have gone for Samu. Would've broke the bank, but watch him play for 5 minutes & tell me that's not a (successful) Chelsea striker

Delap needs to get his head out of his fackin ass & realise he's at a top club now...not some relegation threatened provincial town club

Maresca if he's got his nut sack in the right place, reads him the fackin riot act & ideally in front of the rest of the squad so he understands exactly what a fackin 'tard' he looks...

A touch of community work for a week or two wouldn't go amiss either whilst he's 'indisposed' might teach him a bit of humility.

Wow one goal from our new first choice striker in a season that essentially started in June at the CWC and we're now coming into November lol. The guy has as many red cards as he has goals and he probably should have got another red at the CWC
