My my a pre derby b 1tch fest,marvellous
We should be enjoying the first time in decades that there is real intense rivalry. For the record I don't care what you wear or what you eat or what fruit based carvings Ole gets up to.
Let's hope it can stay as banter and the nonsense from the last Etihad midweek derby isn't repeated

so your current crest is in no way similar to an iconic united one then?

Lying to faceless people over the internet is not something that I think would give me any personal satisfaction, but then you'll have to take my word for that too...

I do prefer our old badge, but in all honesty it's not something that actually bothers me very much.

How does the United away ticket work. Ole1999, I seem to read that you go to alot of away games.

I know you need to have a season ticket and pay for all home games to get away games to apply for the ballot, but we did that ALL last season and I felt like a right mug getting 0 tickets out of 19 ballots.

I've heard some people get tickets by 'knowing people' or 'other websites' I just thought I'd at least get 1 game out of those 19 but hey maybe I'm just hoping.

Is it based on loyalty or should I just give up....

i'd be amazed if any self respecting red was unaware of a crest which adnorned our shirts the night we won our first european cup and symbolises everything that the club stood for at that time. the phoenix also looked nothing like the mythical liver bird either, but as i said, i'll take your word for it.

Derby week eh?

Hmmmm

Our shop's better than yours!!
Our grass is a better shade of green and the lines are straighter too
And have you seen the quality of the nets at the Etihad? Did city get them from Sports Direct? Ours are so much better quality!!

The only thing I like about City's stadium is that blue ray that goes around the whole stadium, it looks elegant. Rest of the stadium looks like a hole though.

season ticket holders apply for away games, every away game is heavily oversubscribed, so the club hold a ballot. it's then in the lap of the gods. so far this season i've had stoke, liverpool (league game), everton, wolves, wigan and city from the ballot, despite the fact that i apply for every away, even if i don't intend on going to the matches. it just goes to show how much of a lottery the system is when you consider i've got one for city when our allocation is 2,600 but didn't get one for blackburn when our allocation was 7,500.

in the clubs defence there is no real fair way of distributing away tickets. all our away games receive more applicants than there are tickets available and a lot of season ticket holders apply for every away so there is no real 'loyalty pot' anymore, like at smaller clubs who can give priority to supporters who always apply.

wasn't the majority of the trouble at the cup game on the hill by asda? apart from that and a few seats being flung from both sides across the segregation during the second half i thought it was a bit tame. unless i missed a lot of it.

and to show i'm not biased i'll hapilly admit that maine road was the best ground in the country, and epitomised everything that a football ground should be.

You're manager has no dress sense wearing designer clothes and a City scalf over the top

Our manager can multitask - Reading the game, making masterful substitutions, all whilst chewing gum!!

ferguson was wearing nike trainers on sunday wasn't he?

Please, if you think Mancini has no fashion sense it's just because he is AHEAD of the game

Wenger and his sleeping bag with arms on the other hand...

The worst dressed manager has to be Owen Coyle, surely?

posted on 24/4/12

doesn't he wear shorts in mid winter? i actually reckon he's the worst manager in the league full stop.

Ole do you apply for 1 SEAT only? If you do maybe that increases your chances because when I do it we apply for 2... I know it's luck of the draw let's hope for next season...
