VC - he's got Borini is World (presumably he ran out of characters ) as his screen name, he can't be any older than 15.

"go play in traffic"

Such a mature response to a serious issue, grow up child.

pathetic

Yeah there was no proof
-------------------------------------------------
Correct, but under civil law, which is how this would have been dealt with had it gone to court, you only need to establish a verdict based on the 'balance of probabilities' which is what the FA panel did.

In a lot of disputes between two people it basically boils down to one persons word against another, there is no 100% proof. Civil law recognises this and applies a different set of rules to those used by criminal law. Like it or not, the panel believed Evra more than Suarez, and I suspect a Criminal Court would have done the same.

One major question is... If Rio chooses not to shake Terry's hand, how likely is it that a riot would ensue?

----------------------------------------------------

No riot ensued when Suarez refused to shake Evras hand.Only thing that ensued was a public humiliation of Dalglish beamed live around the globe and the sacking of Dalglish some 5 months later

and the handshaking prior to a match is largely much of a nothingness.

If the two teams have competed well those that appreciate good sportsmanship will shake the others hand at the end of the game.

Pure and utter ballaches...

In a criminal court Suarez's fate would have depended on absolute proof rather than balance of probabilities.

Sorry Redinthehead, that was my typo, I meant Civil Court, as it wouldn't have been a Criminal case.

.......................................

He can't read very well, that is for sure.

I just don't know how Liverpool fans keep coming to this conclusion that there was no evidence on Suarez.

He admitted it.

How many deranged goats have you come across in your lifetime and enlighten us all on how Alberts post reminds you of said deranged goat

Vidicschin n Scouseland Suarez could've stabbed a man on the pitch and they'd still claim he was innocent

Right let's draw a line here chaps and try and steer the debate towards "should the FA charge John Terry"

posted on 13/7/12

To show consistency on a player admitting he used a racial reference (according to the FA) the FA should address the John Terry case as per the Suarez one.

posted on 13/7/12

One.player guilty and showed class regarding verdict.....the other guilty and started his own t-shirt printing business on the back of it all

.................

I understand all of it. The FA panel dissmissed it, as would any sane person.

The crux of the matter is he admitted to using the word negro to Evra who is black, thus breaking the rule that I highlighted, to help your fans with their ignorance.
