No. Handicap has gone my way plenty of times too. I can definitely accept when I'm losing.

Ive bought all the pes games, and agree 2008 09 10 werent the best of the series, but at the same time the game play is still so much better than fifa, which is clunky,slow and robotic

I have played every FIFA since 2004, and dipped into the Konami market for PES6 and PES 2009. While PES 6 lured me away from FIFA - due to the fun of the gameplay - the jump to next gen put FIFA a long way ahead.

The first next gen FIFA (2008) was fantastic. It had the updated engine which allowed for better graphics and more importantly, realistic an fun gameplay. Since then they have some big steps to change it up (360 dribbling, new defending) both in terms of realism and gameplay. When I played PES 2009, I found that it was quite similar to PES 6. You couldn't tell it had moved onto a new console.

While I haven't played the PES 2013 demo, I am still able to have fun on FIFA 12, a year after it's release, and I don't even play Ultimate team. Head-to-head seasons is brilliant, Legendary setting (offline) makes career mode challenging and playing against friends is great fun.

So however much PES has improved this year, I am sure that it won't be enough to lure fans of the FIFA franchise away.

Legendary is challenging but it needs work, every team just plays a mad Barca-esque possession game. Hopefully the first touch control thing should fix that up a bit. I stick with world class, a bit easier but still realistic enough and more balanced.

Yeah, it is very frustrating when you go behind and they just keep the ball. Not a great deal you can do. But that's realism I suppose. You just have to wait for a mistake and then keep the ball yourself.

It is a very tactical game.

I love how people who play PES think they're superior in some way.

FIFA 13 > PES 13.

However, PES has improved and certain aspects of PES are better than FIFA, no doubt. Overall though, FIFA wins hands down. It just feels like the gameplay is more refined and on the whole, much better than PES (attack, defence + realism). That's just my opinion.
