But the point is you don't want to buy players who won't take us up a level.
The problem with signing someone like Arteta was that he is a top 4 challenger team player. Nothing more. He wouldn't improve a title chasing side. The same with the likes of Dempsey, who many wanted, Sissoko (imo, lets see him prove himself though).

If we are going to buy surely we should be going for players who are a bit better than this below top class level player?
I believe Nacho is a step up. Never really noticed him in the Malaga games I have seen, but going on what respected people have said.
