Iniesta, Ronaldo and Di Maria would also improve us

at present we don't have any dm players so the players that you guys seem to think are medicore would give us something we don't have

----

I don't know if they're mediocre, I've never seen them play bar Wanyama. That's kinda the point though. When Wenger signs somebody from abroad, I can rarely give an opinion about them until I've seen them play. Hence it'd be silly of me to complain about him not signing a player that again I know nothing about.

From a general perspective, it's frustrating that we haven't signed some muscle in midfield. But that said, I don't want us giving a lengthy contract to an average player, only to still finish outside the top 4? You get me?

Batmanu when did Huntelaar start making your list? I remember clear as day having an argument with you about him on the old 606, when you were advocating that we splash the cash on Chamakh.

All this buying next level players will NEVER happen with the current regime hence why we are forced to lower exactions.

I would argue that Cazorla, Podolski and Nacho(hopefully) are steps up and are next level players.

Caz and Pods have not been exceptional, but you do have to give players time to settle and both have shown many signs of being top quality.
I would also give Giroud a bit more time. He is being asked to change his game quite dramatically from last season, and again is showing signs.

How about when we sold RVP and he had just scored 40 goals the season before?

He wanted us to splash the cash on Chamakh, now he wants Chamakh dead.

WTF? I wanted Chamakh given a chance you móng.

Still, the fact that you wanted us to sign him is good enough for me. Just proves you want players signed even though you haven't seen them play.

It's easy to bring up what people thought of strikers 2 years ago when Chamakh was playing well and we had RVP Facking clowns.

Why did you want us to sign Chamakh Batmoanu?

posted on 1/2/13

I didn't want us to sign him. Retárd.

According to the really Don Vito, you wanted us to splash the cash on him.

I'm obviously gonna believe him and not a nipple like you.

Yes I agree, a Cazorla and pod are type signing that can make a huge difference. However, they were brought knowing that we were about to lose our biggest asset of them all.

However, where this one cazorla, there always a gervinho or Chamack that Wenger brings in to even things out

I might be getting it wrong... you were "video didn't kill..." right?

Yes Don, it was him.

I'm sure you're telling the truth. He's obviously not going to own up to his idiocy, he'll deny it till the very end, even though he knows he's wrong.

The point is, I believe, that people were delighted when free scoring Gervinho was signed, when Brazilian left back Andre Santos was signed etc. They all said these players were going to be exceptional and would take us up a level.

Those who saw them play, Gerv especially, said they were not good enough, not an improvement on what we had.

I think the same can be said of many of those people having been promoting on here.

Do you have proof of me saying to splash the cash on Chamakh? Would love to see it, because I know for a fact I didn't want us to sign him.

Anyway I think Wenger could have done more today. We are 6th for a reason because our squad as a whole is not as good as it once was.

There were available players that could have given us some depth in our squad and more options.

Oh well, fingers crossed we can somehow scarp 4th

You know for a FACT you didn't want us to sign him?

"Chamakh - We all know about Chamakh by now. He's been quality for Bordeaux, and although I didn't think we should break the bank for him, and thought our attack was fine the way it was, there are a few question marks over Eduardo at the moment. His contract is up in the Summer so he might be available for as little as £5M. The only potential stumbling block is that Bordeaux have qualified from their 'group of death', and he might want to stay with them."

you've been found out again. No doubt you'll somehow try and deny it though.
