Judd Trump suffered a heartbreaking defeat last nightcannot suffer more heartbreak tonight. Arsenal need to have no mercy and produce a wonderful performance.

Wonderful performance???

It'll be a borefest which is fine with me as long as we win. But Emery don't want to lose to Arteta which could prove AFC were right to sack him and Arteta can't afford to lose to Emery. Plus, both managers are not really keen on attacking in normal circumstances and I can't see tonight to be any different.

Chelsea dumped their manager and are now in the top 4, favs to get to the final of the CL. We stuck by Arteta, cause you know, its not hip to fire managers so quickly. Prove the club right for sticking by you Arteta!

Sadly we're not in the financial position Chelsea are, we can't afford to keep sacking managers and doing rebuilds

Chelsea have a really good squad. No point lumbering the next dude with our shiiiit, unbalanced, injury prone squad. The usual fans will just call for him to be sacked too.

I don't really understand the logic. What if the next dude can get more from these players than what Arteta is currently getting?
Our squad might be unbalanced and all that but is it really worse than the Hammers, Everton or Leeds?

From a footballing standpoint, probably not (although it's closer than some may think). But physically, yes, those squads are far above ours. Plus, all our best players have had lots of time out through injury.

That would be true for 'bigger name' managers. I believe we are only paying Arteta £5m a season with only 18 months left on his contract. Frankly when Spurs can spend £30m to get rid of Mourinho you can see how seriously football takes the management position unlike the Kroenkes.

Chelsea are generally the exception and not the rule. They can sack whenever it’s falling down and the new guy will get them back to where they should be and the cycle will repeat. It’s an interesting tactic, surprisingly effective. But I don’t think any club can afford this

Actually if Chelsea can do it so can most clubs. If you examine their net spend its not too much different to ours. Tuchel has taken a very club friendly contract.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for sticking with a manager with potential. But there has to be 'something' there. A style or mode of success.

Thats why I am desperate for Arteta to win the Europa so he can prove that the FA Cup was not a fluke.

People complaining about Ek’s interest make me sick. Don’t care if it’s a publicity stunt. KSE’s ownership needs to come under sever scrutiny all day every day and the best way to do that is by creating takeover talk.

Ek is an Arsenal legend in the making

So fed up with the Kroenke's

We always tend to get a couple of good players and totally waste their best years. Same will probably happen with Partey now. It's so annoying.

I actually think we have the makings of a really good squad, we just have to be really smart in the market and hope we have the right manager to pull it all together. I have a feeling it's too much for an inexperienced Edu and Arteta but I guess we'll see in the summer just how much they've learnt.
