Putting 5 past you beats that fella.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Morning, just been catching up on this article and came across this nugget of lunacy, above, from Strett who was trying to tell Backo that the 5-2 result was better than the 10 men game.

I would point out that the 5-2 scoreline happens on a weekly basis somewhere in the English professional leagues. So while worth a comment, it is not incredible.

However winning a match from a position of being a goal down and down to 10 men away from home with virtually the whole game still to play has never, to my knowledge, happened before in a game of professional football anywhere in the world in the entire history of the universe.

So not comparable then

Norwich did it to us a few years back. We are used to it. Run of the mill. But putting 5 past you lot? With our current manager beating your current manager tops that all day! X

Where they 1 down and down to 10 after 2 mins?
No I didn't think so.
The fact that you get regularly beaten by 10 men doesn't surprise me in the least Strett. However the circumstances surrounding 10 men day are unique in football history.

Strett neither is the 4-1 drubbing of the so called kings of Europe 10 Men day will be remembered forever...probably longer...you just have to try and live with it.

I remember you lot coming over with King Krankie..."unbeaten away" was the song...quotes before "Did you see us against West Brom?"..."We will batter you".......I remember Jom...never heard from him again..There was only a couple that showed their name on here after that..TEG was one...It took over a month after 10 Men day to get an article on your board ....cos that day really hurt....i mean REALLY hurt...and it REALLY hurts now...i mean REALLY hurts....and will do forever...

Err no. 5-2 though has an almost geographical ring to it.

We've won 5-2 as well against you and 5-0 which is the biggest winning margin of all our meetings but your 6-2 victory in 1903 remains the highest aggregate.
Biggest magnitude result on the richter scale by far was recored on 17 Sept 2010.

Your opinion, which is biased Ram.
What you also forget is you scored the equaliser against 10 men after your band of thugs felled Cohen. So 'beat 10 men' is not entirely correct.

I was thinking that maybe watching the unappealing wobbling of the moobs on your portly players might have put you off, Strett.

Ten Men Day, though! Will never be equalled in the history of football. To our dying days, a glow in our hearts, and a dagger in yours.

Hendrick's movement was far too good for Cohen....hence tried to move his knee into a position that it was impossible to go...just to try and stay with Hendrick. Diddums...play with 10 men for 60 seconds did you???....aww bless em

Out the last 4 you have lost 2 at the historic and trophy laden City Ground; so unless he has severe short term memory loss forgiveness is not happening
