Good TV Series?

Kiefer Sutherland is a big reason to hate 24. Plus it's a little too predictable. And it gets rather formulaic and tedious after like 3 seasons. And the main character is portrayed as some invulnerable, unstoppable superhero, capable of single-handedly destroying whole special-ops or secret service units to get to his man. Elisha Cuthbert is also fecking annoying and pointless (though she's fit). It does have some great characters though.

24 also sucks it's boring and on a par with thoses terrible CSI shows.

but this is all subjective it's whatever you're into.

Dunno why people cream over Game of Thrones so much. All people do is talk talk and more talk.

Oh look Wayne and Robin hates game of thrones as well as wellbeck...

DO YOU NOT APPRECIATE ANYTHING!?!?

If I want to watch something full of characters I hate I'll watch Spurs vs Stoke.

You can't go wrong with Dexter. A proper man's show. It's season 4 is one of the seasons of TV series I've seen. You get to rout for a likeable serial killer.

GOT is excellent though, it's like a political drama with swords, dragons and a load of uncovered lady parts!

Allot of people seem to be turned off by the fantasy element which it does have but it's much more realistic say then Lord of the Rings, or something Terry Pratchet wrots, people die horrible deaths, go to the toilet, get r@ped etc.

It's an excellent adaption of the books as it keeps the important stuff and gets rid of the extra detail, George RR Martin is a good writer but he can go on and on for ages about noting really important.

Anyone else think the Walking dead started good but got worse as it progressed, season 3 final was terrible

I like the walking dead.. though I really would have preferred it if two-thirds of season 2 wasn't spent looking for a little girl.

funny you say that rash....as its not normally my bag....never seen potter...or LOTR.....

but GOT is epic.....last 2 eps of this season....WOW.

Not really a huge fan of LOTR either. If you wanna catch a historical show watch Spartacus instead. Way better than GOT.
GoT is only talk talk and talk. A lot of fanboys like to cream over it saying it has complex characters, character development, story line but the truth is its pretty boring. Nothing happens for episodes at a stretch. Just people talking fancy.

If you want something short, you can watch the 2 seasons of "Rome". I'm still wound up it wrapped up after spiralling production costs but I loved it.

People talking fancy?

The 1880s called and they want their lingo back.

SJB I agree. Rome was my favourite show for all of 2 seasons!

If you're looking for a good historical series like Rome, Vikings by HBO is good (currently filming season 2).

Spartacus was less historically accurate than 300

speaking of which:

Are you kidding? Spartacus feels like watching WWE wrestling. I've never taken it seriously.

I am not at all offended by any cruel death scenes. Its not about pregnant women getting stabbed in their bellies or some gory deaths. I have and can easily tolerate worse but GOT is just plain boring especially season 3. There are fancy dialogues but that's about it. Don't know why people cream over it. Decent show imo but way too overrated.

Just started watching 24, the things I would do to Elisha Cuthbert...

Season 2 of Walking Dead was crap, but season 3 has been the best, looking forward to 4.

Also, am I the only one here who watches House?

It's not the rave of the moment but House was a brilliant show. Hugh Lawrie is my all-time favourite character on TV.
