Can't see Bairstow getting runs so itll be down to Prior to dig us out for a hole yet again

i think some of the people here need to stop being cry babies. Give credit where due. The aussies have bowled excellent today.

As always, England cant drive the ball when the ball is full.. Their heads are all over the place..And Like i have said.. we should produce good batting wickets.. This wicket is far to dry.. Yougive the opponents a good chance..and that's whats happening.

We are in big trouble now, that's awful batting, Trott getting out

Aussie's have bowled well? Are you watching the same game as me?! They have bowled erratic lines throughout. Siddle has been the standout performer with a great ball to get rid of Root.

But in truth Trott and Cook played terrible shots. Then you need to understand that the conditions are overcast and the ball has been swinging all day. One strong partnership by England pushes the game their way, 280 will be a very good score.

Wrong, virud. The Aussies have been chucking down pies all day. Had they bowled well, England would be all out by now for well under 100.

From the sounds of it Siddle has been the best of an average bunch for Australia, lots of pressure on our batsment to perform, we can't rely on our bowlers to dig us out again

Any score less than 300, Cook will be all over the place with defensive field settings. England need 300+ to have a go at the OZ.

Agree with you Voice. Cook has to show aggression throughout this series. Whatever happens with Australia, one thing is for sure Clarke will be aggressive and positive in his approach.

This is England in New Zealand all over again. Even the wicket of Root was avoidable with a straight bat; but airy fairy driving to the wrong ball is costing them dearly yet again.

The Aussie bowling has been atrocious, given the conditions. No control what so ever.

Oz's bowling attack is poor, need to get at them early and take the shots, not play silly shots to the occasion, play for the team not the crowd

We could be all out for under 250 here if we don't pick this up

posted on 10/7/13

When the bowlers have pitched it up and have hit a simple line it has proved to be difficult to play. England will do that with ease.

Id settle for 250 now.

It's a quick outfield! just flies through

Well England are making hard work here, sloppy cricket but the same time been some great bowling by Australia, like I said at the start don't write them off.

Seen the Cook wicket again and again very sloppy batting from him, England I feel need a good partnership here with someone, Bairstow and especaily Bell need to put some runs on the board, so far its Australia day,

Yep. Clarke is a brilliant tactician.

On a different note I felt England were tad aggressive today. Perhaps they wanted to dominate the Aussies from the day one, hence all those needless shots.
