Facking Prior!
Great player but sometimes doen't know when to be careful
Only the 1st innings people
Still a long way to go in this game you have to hand it to the Australians and Siddle they have turned up. Our batting well less said the better.
we need I feel 280 or more anything less will give them a massive lift
Aussie pace bowling was always going to prosper in these conditions but lets see how they bat when the time comes.
dont think it will be that easy to bowl Aus for less than 100. And apparantly its going to be sunny tomorrow, so the only hope will be the new ball and swann. I think Eng will be wrapped by the end of today.
But England are very good at making comebacks. They lost the first test in Aus, and they came back to win 3-1 and they lost the first test in Ind and came back to win 2-1.
Swanny can put on a quick 20 if he's on it
Broad can fire 15-20 runs
Keep Bairstow in
It's all good

England always start bad agree with that.
But judge only when both teams have batted.
Plus this is a 5 match series, not half a day series.
The thing with aus is they are going to be batting very positively, esp the likes of watson and clarke. And if their wicket doesnt fall, they could change fortunes in one session. So Eng have to be very careful with those 2 batsmen
Sunny means more cracks from the pitch. The wicket is extremely dry.. England get 250. Australia will need to equal it.. Or they will have big problems come final innings..
Adotvilla looking at our batting today you wouldn't have thought that, its a test match not 20/20 or a one day
Understand but England got out by showing positive intent. You rather that then getting out like clueless idiots. England will add more discipline next time round and then it'll look much better.
Plus these seamers are having a great time with this pitch, but this Agar lad is not making full use of what is a very dry track.
Beefy with his 10-0 prediction
I still think England will win this Test. You lot are overacting big time. Aus still need to bat (Their weakness) and they will bat last on this deck. Australia may take 20 wickets in this game, but England will take them quicker I reckon.

Agree and when we come to Bowl I am sure the likes of Anderson and Broad and Swan will be loving this wicket....the only problem is when they do come to bat we need early wickets or they will build in confidence, swna will come into the game more in the second innings, which if it stays dry then fantstic for us

Wrong yet again
Well why does it take our batsmen a few days to settle into a test! Siddle has bowled well but we have thrown wickets away. Our bowlers may well skittle them out cheaply but the truth is our batsman have applied no pressure.
I agree with Viru. If Watson gets going, OZ can easily score 300+ given the dry conditions tomorrow. Like Cook and KP, Watson and Clarke are game changers. Unless England tail produces 300+, It's going to be hard to get back into this game for England.
So much for the england fans on here telling us that the “REAL” cricket is about to begin after the “hit and giggle” stuff . T20 and ODI techniques have entered the English mindset today that’s for sure. 4/6 wickets were inexcusable…. What is going on? Siddle is nothing more than a little niggle, not sure how he’s tickled 5. Shows england have been fickle! Anyways, upwards and onwards – I expect a draw or aussie win in the first test.
I'm an England fan and I can honestly say there has been some ridiculous comments on here and from pundits before the series started.
Also wait for both teams to bat before going mad
Broad moves to 16, England 201 - 6
Move to 300
Waiting for the Dilscoop..
