Barca allegedly wanted 10m Euros minimum.
Regardless of what Spurs offered, Atletico must eventually be paying up that much.

Chronic, don't you find it weird that all over Spanish media were saying spurs were close but couldn't agree a fee with barca? Which is so standard spurs and Levy to be fair. We have been after him most this summer so far.

Villa has a member of his family working for athletico dunno in what capacity but I imagine that helped.

I'm still waiting on standard spurs/levy to wait until the last minute of deadline day... Put in a fake bid for Benteke to try and trick the spurs fans, watch it get rejected as per usual and left short upfront AGAIN!!! Then watch Chronic come on here defending levy to high heaven calling everyone clowns

All we basically heard was that :

1. Villa had agreed personal terms with Spurs.
So they would not be the reason he did not come.

2. Barca allegedly wanted 10m Euros min as transfer fee.

3. Spurs did not initially offer 10m Euros.


Don't think I've missed out anything else that is not in the realms of ITK/FACT ...

I'm not blaming Levy, far from it. Of course no one knows the ins and outs. All I am saying is if we offered less than 4.5 million it is a little insulting.
