I'd love to see Mata come to Spurs but more chance of us winning the league

NPE i think cahill was good tonight

oscar was decent, either him or mata could have played and it would have been the same result in my opinion.

i think we can sell mata and replace him with frank, superb first time ball for ba's goal

I beg to differ...Oscar didn't have a decent game, in fact; the game passed him by.

If it was Mata that had such an anonymous game tonight, the Jose bandwagon will be quick to criticise him.
So far, I've not heard them say anything Oscar, despite his poor performance...double standards reeks on this board!

________

well i was trying to be a bit diplomatic but yes he didnt stand out above and beyond any of the other players

he lost the ball many times just like the rest of the team
ran back to retrieve it

it was a standard oscar performance

all in all nothing to make me think, you know what, this kid is definitely more suited to the team than matas.

i prefer the Chelsea FC bandwagon myself, have a gut feeling its more important than personal player preferences

results this season suggest he is more suited to the team

Oscar was no great shakes today, mainly a passenger aside from two good passes.

Biggish...your double standards knows no limits, can't be bothered debating with you on this topic anymore.

Oscar has had 3-4 average games at best, yet you turn a blind eye to that.
Yes, we might have won, but how many assists or what contributions did he make?
Oscar a better no. 10 indeed...jokers!

What did Oscar do today than Mata cant do? Oscar did not even do anything.

posted on 6/11/13

Oscar is not even in the team to create. He cant create and use the ball like Mata can. He's purely in the team because he track backs more aggressively.

Oscar displaced Mata because Jose doesn't want even a single passenger in his 10 outfield players. If Mata can learn to press/position more intelligently and add to his game without the ball it will be beneficial to us in the long run.

We have just won 3-0 and we are moaning because our personal favorites didn't play

Luiz is one of mine, but im not going to whinge about that when we have just won 3-0 and his replacement had a pretty decent game.

Side

Hopefully at some point we will move our pressing trigger higher up the pitch leading to what you describe not being such a problem.
