Talking about return leg. Welbeck is one the biggest donkeys going.

Welbeck was good in the Madrid tie, he snuffed out Alonso completely till the Nani send off

Anyway Giroud off the bench tends to score when we're winning by 2 or 3, so maybe Wenger has a magic up his sleeve. Score a couple, send on Giroud in last half hour to kill the tie.

Rooney was shocking against Madrid and wasn't fit enough to do the role that Welbeck was tasked with.

Made perfect sense he was dropped for Welbeck.

The biggest surprise was that Giggs played instead of Rooney, not Welbeck.

I'm sure every striker aspires to do that when they go the Bernabeu

I don't know how people are able to make such clear judgement's about Sanogo when he's only played one game for us. ONE. He is a massive unknown quantity - can't really judge him by how he did in France (otherwise Giroud would probably be a far better player here than he's shown).

Since you can't judge him on anything apparantly, why should he play?

Feeling very relaxed, can see us winning

We will smash the German cants

We need to keep it tight and make sure we don't lose the tie in the first leg.

I can see us getting a result away

I wouldn't have played him in a match like this.

Confident. Probably cos I haven't watched Bayern this year.

Bayern are about to get schooled

Being an unknown quantity could be an advantage, however.

Bayern will have done their homework on Giroud, they won't know much about Sanogo, so might make it harder for them to defend against.

Bit of a silly question.
