15 seconds after the final whistle and playing in a cauldron for 90 mins. Then add all the other elements, I think we can speculate that he wasn't really thinking "hold on, there is a camera. Let's wait until the changing room".
I know this isn't an article having a dig, but surely you can see and understand what happened.

The lad can hardly string a sentence together 2-3 mins after the final whistle in a post match interview but was able to deliver an impromptu Any Given Sunday speech whilst getting his breadth back? Please.

It was very noisy and you couldn't really make it all out, hence the question, i think shreeves just wanted the whole thing cleared up.

I did no buy into it. All this passion malarkey that has been spouted about. After saying that to shreeves, he actually went on to explain what he said. Hope he ends up in more tears come may.
