Couple of rumours this morning!

Balotelli to Watford for as little as £7m.

Sakho is wanted by both Roma and Leverkusen for around the same price as Balotelli.

Question is, if we allow Sakho to leave that leaves us short and will we bring another CB in?

Will Gomez and Toure not cover it?

Still rather he stayed though.

No need to sell Sakho imo...unless the player requests to leave

Just think Toure has seen his best years and he's open to the odd mistake every 5 minutes and Gomez is just to in expirenced for me.

I think if we let Sakho leave without replacing him it would be very risky.

Lovren is still unproven. Gomez is a kid with hardly any football under his belt and less at centre half at a high level, same with Ilori. Toure has been a good player but isn't at the level to be a regular now.

If we sell Sakho and Lovren goes back to being a mess or Skrtel gets an injury for a while then that's a massive risk to take.

It might work out and Gomez or Ilori perform, but it's a risk for an unproven defence as it is.

Selling sakho would be bad, but for 7mil is criminal

I may rate him more than others but even if the player wants out I'd want close to what we paid for him such is his quality. £15m minimum.

Selling Sakho would be a strange one. If he goes, I think his relationship with the manager must have broken down.

Relying on two youngsters and an ageing Toure to cover Skrtel and Lovren would be an unnecessary risk.

Therefore I would expect the club to bring someone else in.

I like Sahko and believe that with an injury free run in the team he has a lot to offer

Doesn't he only have 2 years left on his deal?

Maybe he won't agree a new one so we want to cash in while we can.

We overpaid for him but he should still be worth £10-12m I would have thought.
