Is that you Woy? Have a nice holiday?
It's an ass pull by the mirror, but if Barca will give us Sanchez, Pedro and cash, then I'd bite their hand off, pun intended.
Di Marzio reckons Shaqiri's agent is in town
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/shaqiri-is-close-to-joining-liverpool-the-latest/
I'll take Shaqiri, Sanchez and another striker as competition with Sturridge as replacements for Suarez.
Probably add another CAM as well...will give us one hell of an attacking squad that.
I've read £80m plus Sanchez for Suarez. Would anyone have taken that before the bite? I deffo would have
Sanchez can be our secondary scorer after Sturridge if Suarez leaves while also adding better balance to the team than when playing SAS.
Sturridge also has potential to a 25+ goals a season striker.
I'll also be seriously píssed if we start the season with Johnson as our first choice RB.

I thought it was an 80m package including Sanchez, not plus Sanchez???
Shaqiri and Sanchez would be a phenomenal statement of intent from the club however both happening is very unlikely. The prices branded about for both of these players are very good value in my book. £16-£18m for Shaqiri would be a great deal but his performance yesterday is likely to knock that figure up a little bit. Sanchez is another who with his pace and power could be a big hit in our side.
I can't see us signing Shaqiri and Sanchez even if Suarez left.
They are both primarily right sided players (although Shaqiri is left footed).
We may sign one or the other but both won't happen.
Is anyone else a little concerned about the lack of defenders linked with us atm? Our leaky defence needs to be fixed, and while i appreciate its still early, having new players in as early as loss in a world cup year can only be a good thing, especially in the defensive unit.

I wouldn't worry about who we have or haven't been linked with yet. 90% of them will be false, and very little deals are done during the World Cup. Once it's finished I think/hope we'll probably get our business done quite quickly.
Shaqiri probably went up about £10M after yesterday.
Di Marzio says Sunderland have offered £10m in total for Borini. We want £12.5m.
We want higher than what we bought him for?
If we can squeak out another million or two and get around £11m, more than we paid for him as you say, that would be really good business IMO. Borini is a good player but that would be useful money to have to spend elsewhere.
fee for origi seems high for someone unproven and who wed loan back
Origi stats don't look great either 5 Goals in 30 Apps for Lille.
