Wouldn't be keen on Sane tbh. Personally I don't think he's ever really delivered on this potential, certainly not consistently.
Was a little bit hit and miss for City and hasn't really established himself for Bayern. Just looked it up - of his 150 games for Bayern he's been sub for just over a third of them and has been hooked in another third (https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leroy-sane/leistungsdaten/spieler/192565/saison/ges/plus/1#gesamt).
Goal record of 1 in 4 is alright but not great when you consider how dominant City and Bayern have been in their respective leagues.
Pep also dropped him from the squad due to attitude problems, an accusation that's also been levelled at him at Bayern. He's been left out of German squads and the assumption is attitude, Kroos has criticised him before.
All that and he's on more money than anyone at Liverpool except Salah, plus he'll turn 28 before the end of the season.
Yeah, not keen.

Much as I like Sane as a player, I really dont see this happening anyway, and certainly not on the right hand side.
Best solution for that position is to get Salah on an extension.

Just looked up on Fabio Carvalho loan to Leipzig and he has been warming the bench. He had more minutes for us as same point last season. Looks like a waste of a loan for the player.

Should make a good profit when we sell him on.
Loan fee alone would have been 3-4m

Klopp talked him up glowingly and seemingly really wanted him, but he doesn't really play any positions we use.
Maybe didn't want to put the work in to be moulded into something else?

Nope, but he's 20 and quality. Can play false 9 too which none of those players can.
It's a pipe dream anyway, he's made for Bayern or Xabi will possibly take him to whatever club he goes to I'd have though.

Yep, he's all technique and they're the players I adore
Think City would be a good fit for him.
Is it the end of the international break yet?
Always been a fan of Wirtz but I think Szoboszlai is going to be fvcking awesome so not sure we need him
