Definitely want to see Rashford and co in the conference league playing against the champions of Transylvania, it would be so funny. Plus I read an article that means they can spend a lot more this summer if they’re not in Europe as they will be free of any uefa ffp restrictions so want to avoid that opportunity for a new manager to have that budget.

White pudding is ok, but the best sort can only be bought in Plymouth where they call it Hog's Pudding.

White pudding is just fat isn’t it? I don’t like the fat, although that’s where the flavour is apparently.

He wasn't as consistent as Salah but Mane was a big game player, like Drogba actually

He was excellent in both finals against Madrid, excellent against Barca as you say. The year we won the title he dominated the game single-handed against Everton, that performance always stands out to me

Yeah, I know he tailed off towards the end of his LFC career, but it has been a downgrade going to Diaz/Nunez/Gakpo on the left. Not the fault of any of them before anyone jumps on me for not supporting the team... No shame in not being as good as Mane was at his pomp.

We get a touch more creativity from the left now, Mane hardly ever got assists.

I do think Diaz is hampered by the system more than Mane was though. Robbo went on the outside of Mane far more than he does for Diaz, and Gomez never does, which I feel mean Diaz gets doubled, even tripled, up on.

Be no surprise to see Salah hit 30 goal contributions in the league this season and yet you’ll see people say he’s on the wane, etc. I find it utterly bizarre, personally.

Salah is definitely on the wane. Whether he is invaluable is a debate, him being on the wane is not a debate.

Mane also always put in a shift defensively and made our left side solid and productive which tbh is more than you can say for Salah, who is part of the problems we've had for years on the right side.

Southgate you're the one (at Man Utd), you can really turn me on, football's coming home again.

Fair comment. Diaz main role in the team right now seems to be ball-carrying, especially with Szob out of form for a while now. I think I would still rather Gakpo plays on the left
