Thing is with Jackson, a new environment could work for him. I think there’s plenty there, but Chelsea hasn’t exactly been a strikers paradise for some time.
Newcastle want £150m for Isak but won't even pay £40m for Wissa, they're a joke honestly.
Makes me think theyre doing it on purpose in the hope Isak says yeah ill reluctantly play again as i have no choice.
Jackson would rather sit on the bench and play second fiddle to Kane at Bayern than go to Newcastle I reckon.

no pressure on the 16 year old whos goal/assist record was not impressive in the youth team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure you should be paying too much attention to youth stats. I’m sure I could find numerous examples of youngsters with outrageous stats at youth level, who disappear very quickly when trying to make the step up.
We’ve had quite a few ourselves.

thats fair, i just dont want the lad getting sht for dropping off if his minutes increase because gapoks leg or whoevers has fallen off

Oh, I completely agree with that. He needs managed minutes, not to be a prolonged starter because we’re short on numbers. IMO, a season of twenty minute appearances off the bench, with some starts in the cup games would be perfect for him.
Don't blame any player weary of joining Newcastle with how they've conducted themselves this transfer window. Think a few there might be taking notes if they're thinking about new contracts too.
Feel sorry for the fans, they should have been going into the season buoyed and excited having won a trophy etc.

There is no1 else, so its Isak or make do. I've always said it was unlikely anyway, Newcastle facked it up and havent got the humility to hold their hands up and take responsibility for a shambolic window for them. One of the worst i think ive ever seen.
Still a slight chance Newcastle see sense but its too late for them to save their window. However getting good money still now for Isak even without getting a replacement in for him is still the best option they have. Just don't believe they can make the right decision over their ego.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think some of this comes down to Saudi owners not wanting to be bullied. Not that we’ve done anything of the sort.
When you sit back and look at it, we’ve put a bid in for a player. That moronic club have made it more than it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s clearly not all we’ve done though. Isak doesn’t react the way he has if all we’ve done is put a bid in. They clearly believe we’ve been in Isak’s ear and encouraged the pressure he’s putting on the club. And they’re probably right, it’s a regrettable part of football but it is part of the modern game that you essentially have everything agreed through the agent before approaching the club.
Thing I don’t understand about Newcastles striker search is that reports say they wanted Aghehowa from Porto but weren’t prepared to pay the quoted £60m but they are prepared to lob that amount at Strand Larsen?!

Wolves have started talking to sign Genk striker Tolu Arokodare, as new striker with deal underway on player/club side. Top scorer of Belgian league last season now serious target for WWFC.
Now we just wait for the inevitable "Genk will not allow their player to leave without a replacement" tweet from someone.
Elliott has two years left, but tbh, the whole issue could be resolved by simply playing him more.
