Still confident of it happening.

If Newcastle sign a striker then its happening... They are still a very strong side without Isak and they proved that against us.
is the CL league draw tonight?

I can only assume we’re very confident on it happening. We’ve been linked with no one else, which is very unusual.

Didn’t the same happen for Caicedo and Zubimendi? If we don’t get our target we don’t seem to go for fall back options.
There is no1 else, so its Isak or make do. I've always said it was unlikely anyway, Newcastle facked it up and havent got the humility to hold their hands up and take responsibility for a shambolic window for them. One of the worst i think ive ever seen.
Still a slight chance Newcastle see sense but its too late for them to save their window. However getting good money still now for Isak even without getting a replacement in for him is still the best option they have. Just don't believe they can make the right decision over their ego.

I think some of this comes down to Saudi owners not wanting to be bullied. Not that we’ve done anything of the sort.
When you sit back and look at it, we’ve put a bid in for a player. That moronic club have made it more than it is.
I'd be surprised if we haven't got some sort of back up options such as a loan. Ramos at PSG for example?
Be very risky going in to the season 2 attackers down on last year
A league record transfer bid, hes not exactly done anything to warrant such a bid so its generous imo, and paying for potential more than anything that he can make a step up and turn 23 goals into 33+

If Chiesa plays a proper part this season, that makes up a lot of that gap.

I think this is a different scenario. This is a numbers game, we’re definitely one short up front if no one else comes in. I’d say the others were to fulfil a specific role, but we already had enough midfielders numbers wise.

Huge if that one. If he was just replacing one missing attacker then fine but we'd be actually reliant on him. And that's without Salah going to afcon
fking afcon every 2 years fack off
Yeah im not particularly pleased if the window shuts and we've lost Diaz/Jota/Nunez and only brought in Ekitike. Arent we also losing Salah for a few months again too?
Maybe Chiesa and Rio can see us through to january and then add there?
Newcastle back in touch with Chelsea for Jackson apparently.
This is getting really tiresome now…..
no pressure on the 16 year old whos goal/assist record was not impressive in the youth team
Chelsea want good money they prob go in with a 30m bid
Chelsea value Nicolas Jackson at between £80m and £100m,
Think thats as bad as valuing Isak at 150m tbf, they'd do well to get 60.

Not sure you should be paying too much attention to youth stats. I’m sure I could find numerous examples of youngsters with outrageous stats at youth level, who disappear very quickly when trying to make the step up.
We’ve had quite a few ourselves.
