I want to see the pressing intensity back that we had under Klopp. I'm fed up with this zonal marking whereby the players stay in a certain zone with no pressure on the ball. It gives the opposition time and space to pass through us.

Not just the pressing, but also we’ve got to move the ball quicker.

So pedestrian at times at the back, like a testimonial match. No wonder teams get back in their low block so fast because we just want to mess around at the back only for Konate to make another mistake and give it away.

Quite fortunate that I’m missing today’s game as I’m with family. It could be a blood bath the way we are playing but there are so many times where we go into these kinds of games playing poorly and you see a significantly better performance.

Just hope the attitude is right this time.
