ISIS have fought other rebels to be the dominant force. They are anti-Assad.
-------------------
Up until recently they had not engaged Assad forces, nor vice versa. The Assad regime was happy to let ISIS weaken the rebels. ISIS were even selling oil to the Assad regime from their captured oilfields. ISIS headquarters in Raqqa have been left intact by Syrian forces for some time. It's only recently that the two have started to engage each other once they exhausted their mutually-beneficial unholy alliance.
Unfortunately once the key word 'Israel' is thrown into the mix, rational thinking goes out the window among many supporters.
That is plain to see for anyone, because as you say, IF people were being true to there alleged feelings they would be up in arms about this ISIS mess and boko Haram in the exact same manner, but strangely they aren't.
ISIS activities in Iraq have nothing to do with Syria. Horrendous crimes are being committed in Northern Iraq and thousands of innocent people are being murdered in cold blood for no reason and without provocation. The people carrying out the activities are sponsored and funded by oil rich Arab nations. How come no one is calling for them to be punished? Again where's the outrage? Where are the protests?
------------------------------------------
Do ISIS have diplomatic representation? Do you protest against criminals or protest against legitimate institutions? The sponsors you're talking off, do they admit to sponsoring ISIS or publicly back ISIS? What are you implying? That people are just out to get Israel or have some kind of irrational hate? Stop being ridiculous. Focus on the substance of the criticism rather than that cop-out.

On the contrary, once Israel is thrown into the mix, a lot of irrational defenders come to the fore. Which other country would be allowed to run an open-air prison ghetto like Gaza in such a fashion and still have so many mainstream defenders? Nobody defends those Islamists. It's those who defend actions of Israel that belong in another century which I don't understand.

Fear of being labelled racist or islamophobic stops many saying anything about much that happens.
For example, when Pakistani gangs groomed and exploited white girls, both the police and social services let the girls down.
Radical islamist takeovers in Brum were allowed to grow, because of the same fear, and if bnp group of teachers did the same thing,it would have been nipped in the bud,and protests would have been held,as they did when an NF member was discovered in education circles.
On a wider scale, islamic states and groups get away with doing what they want, and treat minority groups with disdain.
Christians are being oppressed all over, and show me the protests on our streets.
From north Africa, through the middle east to Pakistan and Kabul,we are witnessing fundamentalist Islamism.
In contrast,a couple of American fundamentalists say daft stuff, and some are all over it.
Why?

Their sponsors Saudi, Qatar and Kuwait do..
Off course they wont admit it (Russia has never admitted involvement in Ukrainian crisis), but investigators have traced ISIS finances and confirmed that the oil rich nations are the ones behind ISIS.
I've already posted links.
People don't protest about ISIS or Boko Haram (in this country at least) in the same way we don't protest paedophiles or rapists - there is no public opinion or organisation against which to protest. It is universally condemned (or at least I hope so!). The reason protests against Israel exist is because it's publicly and militarily-backed by this government, and even more so by the US.

Israel must be the only country as well where any criticism of their actions is implied to have racist connotations. Anti-semitism always comes to the fore. Nevermind, the people they keep in perpetual oppression and hopelessness, which the so-called "anti-semites" speak out for, are also semites like them.

I can also post links of nutjobs making the whole event anti-Semitic, however that was by an 'elected politician', not an ordinary nutjob.
They're sponsored and funded by Arab states..
--------------------
That is not the same thing as direct funding and support. I doubt the UK or US endorse the proxy wars of their Middle Eastern allies but rather must turn a blind eye to it because they need the oil. Besides, from what I've read the support for ISIS comes from wealthy private donors rather than the governments of these countries. I know Saudi have funded militias in the past but it would seem foolish of them to fund a group that can threaten the existence of entire countries, especially one that seeks their overthrow long-term.
Because someone is giving them weapons, money and other materials to carry out horrendous atrocities..
They'll go extinct if they weren't supported.
--------------------------------------
There is still no hard evidence of the support. The actions of those militants aren't state sanctioned. Israel's are. And recieve the direct or tacit support of all or most Western governments giving their actions legitimacy. That's what people argue about. I would talk far less about Israel if they were TRULY seen for what they are, rather than the propagandist crap I see perpetuated. They still recieve massive government and media support in the West. America's support is unconditional.
