Nope, stating facts. We were hugely lucky not to get smashed yesterday. The ref was the only reason.

If my autie had a díck, she would be my uncle

And Jay would plough her.
LVG has a better attack Moyes had a better defence.
And it won't surprise me if come the end of the season we score more and concede more than Moyes' side did.
Defining the 'handling of injuries' should be in comparison to each individual teams season targets.
Robb the man who accepts mediocrity and blindly defends everything associated with United of course will say we are 'handling the injuries'.
United this season should be by now in the top 4 and remain there for the rest of the season.
We are not, we are in 10th, there for we are not handling the injuries at all.
If a team like stoke had as many injuries and were sitting in 10th then I'd say they were handling the injuries because their season targets will be lower than ours.

16 goals in 10 games! Poor attack.

Please tell us what injuries have hampered us.
Wrong word, relative* not comparison
moyes had a whole summer to get the players he wanted in but he wasted too much time changing a back room staff that didnt need to be touched. Half of lvg's summer was taken up by the world cup and yet he managed to bring in more players than in the previous summer window.
Despite the results there are signs that lvg is getting it right. Never under moyes did you get the feeling he was a utd manager and I would have been one of his last defenders
Rob, so you are telling me our squad of attackers isn't as good as last season then?
In"terestingly, I've noticed the media seem to give our managers a lot more leeway than other managers.
Moyes and LVG have got off pretty lightly from the media when looking at their results."
Ive said that too Darren. The media will print what they think their readership want to read and they know the majority of that readership are united fans over any other club. They'll turn on lvg if the fans do, which is exactly what happened with Moyes last year. As soon as the grumblings got a bit louder, the criticism in the press started to appear. It's not as if they didn't have enough ammunition if they wanted to.
Even with that, I've said since Moyes was hired that you always want to be the second man through the door, not the first. Let the first lower expectations and then it makes life an awful lot easier!
There is the possibility that :
a) Di Maria will get a terrible injury.
b) Our new centre back in January breaks a leg on debut.
Does that mean van Gaal is unlucky, worse than Moyes or bisexual?
Half of lvg's summer was taken up by the world cup
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He started his job about 10 days after Moyes did.
Reading Rob and MUDD argue if I wasn't looking at their usernames I'd assume Rob was MUDD and MUDD was Rob because they were having the exact same arguments last season but the roles have reversed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I agree it's better and didn't mean to be so flippant! Just that the goal return has been poor.
Robb the one where we have no settled starting 11 that usually features week in week out.
The fact the starting 11 is different every single week where players also play in different positions most weeks means quite clearly (look at the bloody results) we are suffering from a lack of continuity.
Why do you often respond with questions you should already know the answer to?
Chelsea have had fielded pretty much the same team all season long and they are going to stroll away with itbwhile we chop and change every week because players get injured.

this article is about lvgs luck
is it lucky or unlucky robb to have 35 injurys in 3 months
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's lucky that if Falcao is injured we have RVP. If Rooney is injured we have Mata. If Carrick is injured we have Hererra etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
dosent make for a run of consistant form if players are constantly chopping and changing though does it
but getting back to the luck question you keep avoiding
Is it unlucky having 35 injurys in 3 months
Definitely, melts.
A similar thing happens with Liverpool as well. I think sections of the media don't want to upset the clubs by trying to put pressure on their managers.
Liverpool and United have a huge influence the media because of the stature of the clubs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're implying that sides which change every week do badly thus forgetting that SAF rarely had the same side every week and won titles.
He had injury crisises where we had Carrick in defence, Jones at RB, Rooney in CM with far worse squads than we have now.
Yeah it is given the teams we've played. Two goals in our first three games was poor.
Since then it's been decent bar the last two games, which is understandable given we've played Chelsea and City.
And its not just injuries I'm not suggesting that (I'm saying its a huge factor), its also combined with sheer idiocy, and ineptitude from some players also, and lvg has us playing more promising football than last season but he's taken us a step backward from where we were last season defensively, even though we weren't that great then either
On paper our attack looks great and you'd expect us to score loads but it isn't looking good so far, no striker has more than 3 goals.
The problems with our defence at least is understandable, we've had injuries, lack leaders and the quality isn't the best. Offensively though it's completely different yet we still struggle to score or even create that much in the way of clear cut chances.
Neville made some good points earlier about RVP, stated he is still making some great runs but the players around him aren't supplying him the same way Scholes and Carrick did 2 years back. He did also say though that RVP could do better himself.

Ah yes, the if saf can do it then anyone can do it argument, you can't really lose with that one can you? How come no other manager won 13 pl titles in 26 years Robb, was it because they weren't SAF?
