Yes, and we can return to my point.

There's nothing about what he said that can be ridiculed, because it's been shown to be logical.

You can admit it or not, but it won't change it being true.

Anyone who tries to ridicule someone after they've said something logical looks to be a bit of an idiot to be honest. Which is what most of the people on this thread did initially.

There clearly is as lot's of people have.

If that's your only basis for justification then, quite simply, you have no justification.

A lot of people jumped on something without stopping to think about what he meant.

It's not a surprise you're trying to defend your comments. Too few people on here ever admit when they made a mistake.

I am not trying to defend my comments, I am simply standing by them and will continue to.

What did he mean then? 1
1) 'Only if you take out our result v Leicester, is our defence on a par with Chelsea'

2) 'Our defence is as good as Chelsea's, that Leicester result is an anomaly'

It's either 1) or 2) happy to consider a 3) if there was another way of looking at it.

I reckon he meant 2) because 1) would be a put-down of his players, and he'd already said he doesn't agree defence is a problem.

Yes JFDI, which is entirely my point.

You're standing by your illogical, nonsensical point.

Redinthehead - no it's not either 1) or 2)

It's been explained to you what he meant - how about you try reading and digesting information when it's given to you?

It is not illogical at all, I just choose to disagree with what LVG is trying to do, whatever his reason was for saying it and after your unsuccessful attempts to justify what he said to me or others.

It's been explained to you what he meant -

------
No need to explain anything at length, just note down here in two sentences what you thought he meant.

posted on 9/11/14

It is illogical.

The explanation has been given to you. That explanation is perfectly feasible and makes perfect sense.

Therefore you cannot ridicule it.

You can disagree, yes, but ridicule? No.

Perhaps one day you might read this back and understand. You don't seem particularly stupid, but your stubbornness on this point is misplaced.

If you didn't take it in the first two times, what chance of the third time meaning anything?

You're either attention seeking or just stupid.

I can choose to and I do.

I am no more stubborn than you, We do not agree and never will.

I can understand there may be many reasons that any manager would take the LVG route, I would feel exactly the same if any of them did, including Jose.

posted on 9/11/14

No, you cannot.

You can try, but the result is you looking stupid.

You cannot ridicule something that makes perfect sense.

You can try, and fail. Which is what you've done.

You can in this instance, there aren't many but this is definitely one of them, so definitely one of them.

There we go - this is a special case.

Why?

Because the alternative is you admitting you're wrong.

Laughable.

lvg is desperate to look better than Moyes.

First judge me after 3 months
Then take away 5 goals and our defence is good

He must think all ManU fans are stupid to fall for it.

posted on 9/11/14

I can't believe I fell for it.

I deducted 5 goals from the Goals Conceded column on my wall chart, sat there and thought 'wow, we are brilliant'.

Silly me and silly LVG.

Which is also the only alternative open to you A common situation when people disagree, in this instance the majority seem to disagree with you. You defence of your manager is commendable but it isn't helping anyone change their mind.

posted on 9/11/14

The majority?

About 5 or 6 people you mean, mostly clearly anti United forum contributors.

Again, if that's your basis, you have nothing.

LVG's point was logical. To try and ridicule it would be nonsensical.

That is what you've done.

I'm sure you'll continue to try and wriggle out of it, but it won't change it being true.

I'm talking about a wider audience, purely my experience.

I am not trying to wriggle out of anything, you can accuse me all you like, your opinion of my view means nothing to me, it stands.

posted on 9/11/14

Yeh of course it means nothing - that's why you've been scraping the barrel for so long.

You admitted above that trying to ridicule something that makes sense is nonsensical, yet try to say that in few a few cases, that's not the case.

And surprise surprise, this is one of those cases.

I urge you to read back your posts - it's becoming a bit of a joke.

LVG said something logical. It was taken out of context by a lot of people keen to have a dig at United, or those who just didn't stop to think about it.

In doing so, they (and you) have tried to mock something that actually made perfect sense.

As I said earlier, the joke is on you.

Sorry, didn't see it, for the sake of putting this to bed, just a couple of sentences - for my understanding, what did LVG mean?

My opinion is quite straightforward, it does not require an in depth explanation. You can accept it or not, you clearly choose not to. I can live with that, as I can live with my view.

The joke may be on me in your eyes, but I care not for your opinion as I have said all along. I will never accept your view no matter how hard you try to force it on me. As always in life, I take a "litmus" test on any given situation, based on this one your view is in the minority.

posted on 9/11/14

Yet again you tell me you don't care. Yet again you lie. Actions speak louder than words.

You could write that your opinion is the world is flat.

Sometimes it's not enough to hide behind an opinion, if that opinion is illogical and nonsensical.

Redinthehead - it's all written neatly on this thread for you.

Go find it, and report back when you've understood.
