"Comments 21-3,000,000 is a mydick is bigger than yourdick spunkathon"
Probably about right.
But here's my summary:
- Some non United fans jumped on LVG's comments, interpreting them (ridiculously) in a certain way, and trying to ridicule him for it.
- It was then pointed out to those people that, actually, there's a [far more] plausible explanation, which is logical.
- Those fans have then tried to persist with their ridiculing of LVG, ignoring the logical explanation and the fact that if you try to ridicule someone who has said something perfectly plausible, then you are actually the idiot.
After that it's just the usual 'can't admit I'm wrong' car crash that takes place at the end of any debate on this forum.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he is absolutely right and this is not for me about not being able to accept wrong or right but that views and opinions differ. My ridicule of LVG is based on my view of what he said and is a valid response. You may not agree but that does not make it wrong.
Oh so you're the person who decides how things should be interpreted, who's explanations are plausible and decides what people actually mean when they say things
Nice to meet you.
JFDI (U1657)
What you continually miss is that I'm not saying you have an opinion that's wrong.
I'm saying you have made statements that are simply incorrect, therefore don't qualify as an opinion.
Jud_Danger (U10967)
If that's what you think I've said then I suggest you go back to school, because clearly reading and understanding is not your strong point.

Blarmy - I must be the only Brit that actually likes foreigners (U14547)
Not really.
The crux of it now is just that you can't go around ridiculing someone for saying something that has a perfectly plausible explanation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well then it depends what you classify as ridicule, just because an explanation is plausible does not mean that one has to agree with it. If your problem was in the manner of the disagreement then fair enough
Blarmy - I must be the only Brit that actually likes foreigners (U14547)
Not saying you have to agree with it.
But you can't ridicule comments for being implausible etc. if they are perfectly plausible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree, My opinion is my opinion, you can call it wrong but it is still my opinion and therefore what I believe to be right and that is why I reacted to LVG's statement as I did.
In your opinion I am wrong but in mine I am not and I have ever right to defend my opinion as you do to attack it.
Jud_Danger (U10967)
It's plausibility was explained earlier in the thread by multiple people, and not argued against.
If you wish to debate the plausibility of his comments and our explanation, be my guest.

It isn't an opinion.
It's an incorrect statement.
But then, that was established several pages ago.
its what you have written
Some non United fans jumped on LVG's comments, interpreting them (ridiculously)
---------------
calling another person interpretation of something "ridiculous" <--- you interpret it one way, other interpret it another way....that's not rocket science.
It was then pointed out to those people that, actually, there's a [far more] plausible explanation, which is logical
-------------------
saying that someones explaination of something is less plausible than your own explaination....again....not rocket science as to what you are doing.
Maybe you should have a re-read of whats been said
Apology accepted

In your mind Winston, I think most people just moved on.
LvG admitted he wasn't God when he said "I didn't create the human body, God did"
He's a fraud. So his comments are implausibly plausible?
Is that plausible Winston?
Jud_Danger (U10967)
Calling something ridiculous is my opinion - where have I told people that have to interpret it the same way?
I'm perfectly entitled to call something ridiculous, if I think it is.
Oh dear - you've made a right mess of this, haven't you?
JFDI (U1657)

Nope, it's all written down. As are your incorrect statements.

And we are back to square 1, just because you say so doesn't make it true. I gave up trying to explain further to you a long time ago as I realised you are set in your ways an I will not convince you otherwise.
As it was never my intent to to so anyhow it isn't an issue for me.
You are showing yourself up for the sort of person you are though, your way or no way. But as I said earlier, life isn't like that, you can't always get what you want. No matter how much you stamp your feet.

Coming from the bloke who's <pissed&moaned> for 370 comments to try and back up his managers desperate comments about their terrible defence
Congratulations... "Your Blue Peter Badge has been despatched"

As I said before - if I said 'the earth is flat', and then told me I was wrong, I could then begin typing out your responses word for word.
It isn't really about wanting anything, is it?
It's about telling you you're wrong. Whether you like it or not.

Winston, you haven't convinced me, or many others it seems, that you are right.
I have to admire your persistence but can't accept your opinion.
JFDI (U1657)
It's not my opinion.
And I'm attempting to convince anyone. It was clear very early on that you would never admit you're wrong.
Whether that's due to a stubbornness or just a lack of intelligence (and genuinely believing you're not wrong), who knows.
