Ath it just means that Rangers pretty as a club will pretty much be entirely a vehicle that services Ashley's business interests aka Sports Direct. They need to have hig enough profile for SD to be seen so Rangers will be put into recovery and onto a higher stage, but as a club will not own anything, and the club will be put into huge debt in order to keep going and keep SD in a high profile. It's Sports Direct first, Rangers second from now on.

How long does it take for an EGM? a month? Don't see any way you can avoid this.

Ivan - I think what people have to bear in mind is this is not a board of a football club in any conventional sense whatsoever. They have no plans for Rangers, or interest in football. Rangers is an easy opportunity for a group of people with no emotional connection to get as rich as possible.

Spot on with your assessment Smid.

I said this would happen at the start of the season. It has been the plan all along, its what asset strippers do. Anyone know the answer to my question?

Seems it's a £10 million loan for securing control of the assets
