Sony seem obdurate when it comes to their spiderverse. It continues to fail in front of their eyes yet they are greenlighting sequels to poor movies.

Yeah if Kraven tanks (which it may well after Madame Web) then that might put his Bond credentials into question.

Maybe - but if he Vemons it he may be ok. People seemed to really like Tom Hardy as Vemon even though people didn't like the movies

I thought the first one was fairly crap and I didn't bother watching 2. Certainly won't be watching 3. Think Hardy's career has suffered as a result of being in these movies.

I thought Venom 1 was OK, as a random superhero standalone movie. Venom 2 regressed in several ways but it was nice to see Carnage and Venom on the big screen and actually looking like their comic counterparts.
