Didn't realise The Martian is a Ridley Scott movie. Looking forward to it. Looks a bit like Moon which I really enjoyed.

Stringer I also watch a lot of Collider or AMC Movie Talk as it used to be known.

So why does Ridley Scott have that much power to delay the Prometheus sequel ? Didn't watch the full vid, will watch it tomorrow.

They are just speculating whether Ridders I'd having a power trip, though the reasoning makes sense...
If this is a prequel to Alien then 5 should wait.

Watched Gone Girl this week in about four instalments...didnt float my boat really

Sheriff I found Gone Girl a bit so so as well. Daft ending.

David Fincher used to do really edgy movies like Seven and Fight Club.

In more recent years he's done stuff like Benjamin Button and the Social Network. None of which floated my boat in truth.

Stringer so they're saying that Blomkamp isn't the guy to do Alien 5 ? Is this based on Chappie underwhelming ?

If that's the case then they're 100% definitely going to say that Alien 3 never happened.

What I find weird though is that the little I've heard about the movie Blomkamp insists that this movie doesn't invalidate Alien 3 but I just don't see how it can't.

Not that I really care about Alien 3 in truth, but if they're going to pretend that the events in Alien 3 never happened then just say so

Yeah I certainly didn't hate it either. Certainly had it's merits but was a step down from Aliens which is a classic.

I can understand why they'd want to do a semi-reboot of the franchise by basically ignoring the events of Alien 3 but I'm just confused as to whether or not that's actually happening.
