Bullitt: The iconic car chase scene
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Iconic yes. But someone needs to remaster it, and digitally erase the Green Beetle, that seems to be in every shot…

Just saw the last Ep of the Offer.
Gonna miss that show, what a load of fun that was.
It’s not perfect, but I’d easily rewatch it.
Brilliant stuff.
Overall I’d give it a 9/10.

Yes that VW Beetle gets passed about 4 times !

Also at the start of the chase Steve McQueen's Ford Mustang already has damage to the side, which vanishes in the next shot !

I watched the original Candyman with people yesterday at a movie night with some friends and acquaintances and they seemed to really dislike it. One guy called it a huge waste of his time.

Threw me for a loop. I think it’s a fantastic movie. Classic horror. Nuanced and deeper than horror tended to get especially from 92. That’ll be the last time I watch film with them.

Has there been a film or situation with you guys where everyone seemed to disagree with you on the quality of a film?

Oh man. So a group of 10 of us boys and girls, go to the cinema. No brainer. I call Die Hard with a vengeance.
But my big mouth best friend, mr popular suggests, The Exorcist.
I said nah, but even my girl was going. Peer pressure that was. So i had no choice.
I’ll always remember walking past the Die Hard door, and going into seeing The Exorcist. I was soo piiiised.
But to my surprise, after the film, everyone turned on my mate. He still gets cussed out today about it.

That night wasn’t the night for the Exorcist.

That’s a bit different as it was just movie night. This was specifically horror movie night.

The choices were:
Candyman
Pet Semetary
Drag Me To Hell
We Are Still Here
In The Mouth Of Madness

I think the problem stems from them not really being into horror but trying to give it a go and also one being a snobby aspiring movie writer.

Green Knight - loved that movie but could feel the normies around me getting bored.

As for seeing with friends - I would say Last Jedi. I didn't mind it but my two ther friends I went with where at polar opposites. One thought it a masterpiece, the other the worst Star Wars movie ever. One of them stormed off in the post movie row about it.

Well from a certain point of view. But I read the room, and nobody was in the mood for The Exorcist.
Choosing the right film, like choosing the right wine to have.
I’m a connoisseur.
My mate just wanted to out film buff me by showing how cultured he was than me.
Tell you something, his head was spinning with the ribbing he got that night.

I think it's near perfect, but the audience score suggests otherwise

But on this movie, I really don't mind. Jurassic Park 6 or whatever it is has a high audience rating - the reality is most people like slop.

It's always a miracle frankly when a really good, daring movie like Everything Everywhere All At Once bangs at the box office.

To be honest mate, if The Exorcist is fine wine then Die Hard 3 is a room temperature cartoon of Ribena.
