Maybe a couple of months I a nice Malaysia jail will bring her to her senses?
Shes already been freed, the sentence was for 3 days.
At the very least she should have known that Malaysia is an Islamic state ruled with sharia law. She was lucky she didn't pull that stunt off in Saudi Arabia or she's have been down to chop chop square for fifty lashings.

It's a wonderful country with a melting pot of cultures, fantastic food, beaches, jungle, mountains.
I personally don't think the girl did anything wrong if they were alone and just amongst friends. She probably had no clue it was considered sacred and that her actions were a little stupid. Ignorance no doubt.
As for her actions causing earthquakes, dear oh dear !
It's very hypocritical for people here telling her no doubt that she should show respect. Bet majority of these people here get pissd out their head regularly and do stupid disrespectful things like walk over cars, urinate in the street, get their tackle out, mindless vandalism etc.

Yes as I said it has Islamic laws and is predominantly Muslim... The Chinese Malay percentage is far greater than 20 % I can tell you. It is NOT an Islamic state !!
Malaysia has developed both a general civil code, which is applied universally, and Islamic law, which is applied only to Muslims in personal and family matters.
It is officially a secular state !
