Its only Day 1 Afridi, if its still like this Day 3 onwards then it will be a big problem.

Lords is one of the flattest track in world cricket. They are more interested in getting 5 days with there over inflated prices.

Like I said.. This game will come down to englands first innings. we bat down to 10 when broads on song.. need at least 450.. no reason why we cant get one huge partnership on this track.

Boss, I think it will only get flatter. England prepared a green top for India last year, a bit of green for NZ, but left this as flat as they can. Pitches are obviously prepared with opposition in mind, but can't see either team taking 20 wickets here.

we are not..I know what the lords wicket is like. It could be like this for 5 days.. All we need to do is avoid the follow on..batting 4 sessions on here to save a test match. shouldn't be to difficult besies the aussies only have 4 bowlers now. marsh cant be classed one...

Probably get 10 wickets in the match now .
England have some pretty good bowlers. This wicket is ridiculously flat.

I'd like to think that the pitch is so good for batting that we will also pile on the runs, but do we have the same discipline... you know cook bell buttler will gift their wickets away.

By COP we'll either be looking at 300 for 1 or 265 for 5

Michael Vaughan chats absolute twaddle.. This pitch will get quicker..
Not when the heavy roller as been on it wont..
It wont break up either. if it spins it will be slow.

Touch of farce when Lyjth bowled and Rogers blocked.

Wee bit of light relief maybe.

England got 430 in the last game and only 1 player got an 100.,need top order runs. that's for sure..

YES...OUR top 3 HAVE to contribute in this time around...as long as we bat well in our first innings we will stay in the game.
