to both centuries
Excellent
254-1 - May as well let the India bowling attack do the job for you, could not do any worse
I like seeing batsman do well, but I have to say if this goes on for another day the test as a specticle is over as england wil lbe batting to draw the game...
I can see Oz get 500+ and england all out for 250 odd, in again, and out for 280 odd leaving Oz to get a few runs, probably on Sunday.
but england are yet to bat so we will see how the pitch is then.
Lords groundsmen are not interested in Cricket at all, they prepared the pitch that should last for at least 5 days. I bet they have sold all the tickets for the fifth day.
England overrate is ahead I believe. That's the only positive today.
wow - those hard-ons have slowly gone floppy
You really are a horrendous wum
Depressing and boring day of cricket. Hope it peters out into a boring draw.
That was more like Australia we know of late.
Wonderful batting by Rogers & Smith.
England bowlers did not do a lot wrong with the bowl.
They bowled their hearts out but very little luck.
England are getting a taste of their own medicine after they did to Australia in Cardiff.
Hopefully the other grounds in Edgbaston, Trent Bridge & Oval can produce a better playing surface with a more even contest with bat & ball.

England are already out of this game, best they can hope for is a draw
Slap a 3-match ban on Smith. The guy scores heavily and giggles.
over the years Lords has seen a lot of big innings and drawn tests. it tends to be one of the duller pitches in the country, which is a shame for the 'home of cricket'. if I were in charge at the ECB I'd be telling them to improve the balance, or lose one of the two tests they get every summer.
of course, we haven't seen England bat yet so we might get skittled and find out it was just great play from Australia to make it look so flat...
Edgbaston will be a different proposition entirely, as will trent bridge, where I expect pitched up swing bowling will do much better. with any luck we won't care what the oval plays like as we'll be 3-0 up by then
