Need to get Wasim in as a specialist coach for Australia.
Our batting resembles India when not playing on a concrete road here, pathetic really.
Clarke should challenge Stokes with Lyon from the other end. Stokes will play his shots.

As they've just shown on that graph...
All gone to shat...from the loss of a toss
===========================
TBH a lot of games are decided by the toss.
Almost all I would say. If the teams are relatively well balanced.
Mark my words. This test match is gonna be a draw. England will bat for next 2 and half days.
How can you say this the toss has played a part? Aussies used the pitch well and batted accordingly. England have had the same pitch and not doing so well... So I don't buy that argument.
The difference (so far) has been between the Aussie quicks and England quicks... Anderson + broad averaging 83/84, whereas Johnson and starc at 90+.... That 90+ is what wins you games on these types of surfaces.
How about if they radically changed the test rules whereby in a 90 over day you batted for 45 overs and then swapped...
you could drop the amount of overs as the game moves on...say to 30 on days three and four....then the team in the lead has the call on batting or bowling on day five
comments...yeah it's radical...but..

its the Aussie aggression that is the key, England bowlers lack zip, aggression , its a attitude thing too that unless you are Aussie will not understand, they hurt very badly after the first test, this is payback .
No
How about they do just one toss for the series and then you alternative who decides to bat first. That way winning a toss is still an advantage in a 5 test series, you decide whether to bat for tests 1,3 and 5 and your opponents choose for tests 2 and 4.

This would surely bring the crowds in on the later days too...
especially on flat wicket games like this
Got to survive that new ball. Looking easier now. Seriously changes need to be made at the top. Lyth is not good enough neither is ballance at 3.
