Narrow escape for Buttler. Looked like a great catch by Nevill but replay showed the ball touched the ground. Aussies not happy.
Didn't see it, did it 100% hit the ground?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah 100% hot the ground, keeper didn't touch the ground with his fingers so he wouldn't have known in fairness
Yeah, those catch replays get a hammering because they end up being given not out something like 90% of the time, but that one definitely wasn't a clean catch
Yeh, Australia had one of those disallowed at the WC, think everyone knew it had actually carried but the replays made it impossible to tell if fingers were under the ball.
Buttler badly off form now
Think we need Bairstow in, get Root up to 4, Stokes to 5, Bairstow to keep and bat 6, take a bit of pressure off Butler

dropping his puts even more pressure on him when he comes back

No I mean keep him at 7, just take keeping duties off him so he's less constantly in the spotlight.
In any case, that's terrible logic - by that logic you can't ever drop a player for bad form.

ah get what you mean
nah i just don't think Buttler should be dropped now, i thought you were suggesting take him out for a game or two to then come back with less pressure on, my mistake.
Bell's the man dropped in that scenario ^
Bell's been on borrowed time basically his entire career, utterly fed up of his "one pretty ton under no pressure followed by 10 single-figure innings" crap, he can't even field any more. Just doesn't have any fight.
Five 1s in his last 8 Test innings
Holding showing the difference between the pitch for the NZ and Aus matches.
Heading towards inevitable defeat.
