England need to find three key players.
They need another opener instead of Lyth
They need a spinner who will win matches
They need a fast bowler who will frighten the opposition.

Hales
Cook
Pieterson
Root
Bairstow
Stokes
Buttler
Ali
Broad
Anderson
Finn
Probably how I'd go
I see, people are still talking about KP and luckily they didn't mention Freddie Flintoff
ERM....kp IS STILL AN ACTIVE PLAYER THOU.....!!!!
Didn't Flintoff play some sort of cricket in the Australia few months ago?
Flintoff has retired form International Cricket...KP wants to play International cricket
Has KP been tearing up the county cricket circuit this summer?
Bairstow made an unbeaten 74 for Yorks today. Keep some runs back for the test match, Jonny.

Well, he hit a triple century for Surrey but then got injured and went off to the CPL.

I'm pleased to hear that but no thanks to KP. England needs a group 11 players who can trust each other not 11 groups players.

What a load of nonsense that is. That's the official Ecb line that actually means nothing. Can you trust KP with the bat at the crease? Yes!!! On current form, can you trust lyth? Can you trust bell? Can you trust ballance? Can you trust Ali? Can you trust stokes to put his bat in when the balls coming to him? Can you trust Anderson on a flat wicket? Can you trust mooen to turn the ball? Can you trust any of the England bowlers to take 20 wickets at the moment in hot weather conditions?
Would we be better with KP batting? Of course. But let's not pretend everything would fine and dandy if England called him up again.
Despite his record, he had no answer to the Aussies bowling down under, couldn't prevent a whitewash and wasn't as good as Bell at the Ashes in 2013.
I'm fairly convinced the Aussies worked out how to get KP out 2 years ago and his recent England record against them is bang average.
Bang average by Pietersons standards I mean....

Pure rubbish, players dont have to get on or be friends. As soon as the test starts they have to remain professional thats all. I remember people saying that the aussie players didnt get on with each other during there time at the top.
No chance KP will be back, his England career ended for good the moment Strauss was appointed director of cricket.
Boycott reckons Bell is in the last chance saloon at Edgbaston, and who would argue what with being 33 years old and in a horrendous run of form.
Dont know why Bell has been moved to 3. Root is meant to be englands best player so shouldnt he be at 3?
No5 is where Bell has performed the best so why tinker with that?
