Lets not get carried away with steve smith.. hes failed a lot againt England aswell as scored runs.. Hes still got plenty of technical issues.. England still have good bowlers.

so bairstow has scored more runs than the entire england team today.

they do say that timing is everything, and talk about a good time to score another century.

Frankly England were lucky to recover from 30-3 to win the first test - 9 times out of 10 you don't win test matches from 30-3 (or similar)

sheriff, you still gotta score runs..England need to bat first that's for sure 350 is a must.. if we don't get that or 200...they deserve to lose the series.. you cant get 400 runs in total in a test match over 2 innings and expect to get a win.

boycott saying that the selectors will probably sit in a darkened room, go over this fiasco for a day or two, and then pick exactly the same team again...

wonder if the next test being at edgbaston will save bell?

Moeen weak link in the bowling.

Who's out there in county scene? May need to look at Bairstow and James Taylor again along with Rashid.
