Felkk me the English commentators are calling Lyon "class".... Nonsense. He's average at best. England just don't play spin well... In the UAE got done by the Pakistani left armer Rehman, another mediocre spinner.... Hardly "class"
Just read Agnew's piece from last night:
But this Test is there for the saving. With a healthy dose of luck, allied to discipline and concentration, England could yet be heading to Edgbaston with a 1-0 lead.
Again, I wouldn't say Aussie bowling attack is class (on this type of wicket).. They got ripped to shreds on similar types of pitches in the UAE vs Pakistan only last year.
Khan was in ridiculous form. I don't think Australia did that badly, Pakistan played very well. The Cardiff test felt a lot like that UAE tour IMHO.
Maybe put a bet on England taking it to a 5th day, odds must be terrible.
Buttler gone first ball after tea. Shambolic.
Duncan,
Not having a go at Aussies, they have been terrific and deserve a win here for the sensational attitude and fight alone ... Cricket needs a series such as this
I didn't take it that way, I also don't really rate Lyon but he is the best we have. Does take wickets against most teams as well. Pakistan were clearly better last year, great batting. Still think Aus are one of the best teams, not many can beat SA in SA.
Nevill dropped?

England have fallen apart mentally, collapsing on a superb batting wicket like this is nothing short of pathetic
Ali out to the bouncer.
Johnson back?!?!
wow, this is back to the bad old days of the 90s, utterly spineless.
Moeen out to the short ball.
Surprise surprise and Aussie coach brings this kind of gutless England to an Ashes series
I forgot I paused my tivo and I've been 20 seconds behind since lunch.
Any pitch with abit of bounce will suit Johnson. Cardiff kept low from the first ball of day one.
