Kane played 70 mins against Madrid yesterday, that's why he's not playing.
Kane would be perfect under LVG.
Even Spurs are not so amateurish to play their only striker two days in a row, three days before their first competitive game.
I can't see us paying that at this stage of his career tbh
Kane £40m is a decent deal as he looks the bushiness.
Wilson could be as good, chequebook LVG at it again.

Kane was meant to be on the bench for Spurs today? But he's not in the squad at all
I heard a day or 2 ago that we'd be bidding for Kane before Saturdays game, mentioned it on a Spurs thread yesterday, got no reaction. Its a bit underhand if true though, but then again, if you are dealing with Darth Levy, when in Rome...

£40m isn't a lot for a striker [IF he does well] can give us 8-10 years at the top.
However, for what he's done in football, which isn't a lot, it is a joke offer.
I would quite honestly, be happy with this though. We need a feckin' striker, a striker who can get at least 20 goals in the Premier League!
Maybe we're just unsettling Kane and Spurs before we play them
I think people are financially stuck in the past.
£40m for someone who scored 30+ goals is not really that crazy when Sterling is £50m... A young prospect from Holland (Depay) is £30m etc
I'd be OK with this deal... But don't see it happening
If it was no more than 40m I'd just about accept that, but no more, in truth for what he's done so far in the game he's probably worth 20-25m
Kane obviously has ability and in this market 40m is cheap considering how young he is.
he only sad thing about this if it comes through is the undroppable Rooney playing behind Kane.
Kane is a £15m player at most.
We also have to take into account that Spurs are a rival for a CL spot.... We would massively weaken them, why would they sell for anything less than top whack?

Yeah, you should go back to 1998 and buy him for that
I really rate the lad but he won't be joining United, you only need to listen to him give interviews on the subject of leaving Spurs
I think Kane is the real deal and I said as much last season too. He'd be the perfect player under LVG ,he really would.
In all our recent friendlies we have lacked a physical presence and someone who can,not only be individual when required, but also bring others into play.
Great. Go big or go bust. I'm all in for Kane.
It's better to see how he play this season before putting a big offer on the table. He was a novelty last season, this season every team will be doing everything they can to stop him. Game analysist will go through every minute of footage to find a weakness in his game, Defenders will double up on him.
He is unproven till he overcomes this challenge imo
