Kondogbia to inter was hardly overpriced he cost about £20m

Says 40 million euros on the list I found.
€30m with 5m add ons, so about £22m

Fair enough. I just think people saying the English players have joke transfer fees attached to them should look at all the other non-English player fees.
In every league big signings are happening.
Both goalpoachers can head or be a fox in the box and both can score from longish range as in just outside the box like Kane against Chelsea 1st half or Hernandez at Real Madrid.
The prices in England are in general much higher than other leagues, obviously you get the odd transfer in Serie A, La Liga and elsewhere but on the whole the PL pays much more for their players than any other league

Aye, but it's foreign players in the leagues that often go for bigger prices.
Like Cuadrado, Soldado, Lamela, Firmino, Benteke, Mata, ADM etc.
Yeah I'm not saying it's English players, just players bought by PL clubs
Fair enough Mex. I love you.

For £40 million United could buy Di Maria.
We signed Dobby or Sebastian Buemi instead for £59.7m.
The difference is robb, the non English players going for top dollar are proven and generally are worth the cash,
The young English players are generally a good bit overpriced and have yet to sustainability proove themselves.
If they got 85 for bale from a foreign club, they'd want at least 60/65m for Kane from us. At least.
Never guna happen. Nor should it. We have plenty hg players.
The only way it would happen is if Kane kicked up a fuss and demanded the move, which won't happen
Hafi needs to get back on his medication, seriously.
Not sure why anyone is discussing this. The only way this will even have a whiff of happening is if Kane kicks up a fuss and demands a move - won't happen. Even if we get a 50 mil bid I don't think levy would sell because the backlash from the Spurs fans would be something else. Harry Kane might eventually go to a big club abroad if he keeps having seasons like he had last year but he won't be going united or any english club for that matter
I'm not that bothered about the fee per se but I'm yet to be fully convinced by Kane tbh. He lacks pace which is the one thing everyone complained about the most last season.
At the same time I would hate for a title rival to sign him and then see him do well for them for the next 10 years...I hope he stays at Spurs and we get another season to see what he is made of.

Apparently we've bid for Kane?
